Don't tell me you have a 'hand' in this?

Wishing a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the buddies in the image thread of t-bhp!!

Here's a greeting car I created, the picture is an intentional out of focus shot of an Xmas tree kept in our office. I stopped down at f/5.6 to get that polygonal bokeh which I love. Taken with the 70-210mm f/4.

Found them on my Hard drive,

TG,

Thanks. That dark object was the fencing around the lake - couldnt help it since the pelicans were actioning on the far periphery of the lake towards the fencing side.

@theMag
These things tend happen, but eliminating them is just a matter of time...more the time you get to spend on getting the right shot, the better the results are. That's why I love going to shoot during holidays!
@clevermax
Thoughtful pic :) Thanks and same to you man!

Waited for close to 2 hours to get this shot.

@Clevermax: I love that cat shot!

OT: Btw i noticed a colour vibrancy loss after the photo has been uploaded here. Why is that? Compared the same pic uploaded here with the one in disk viewed with windows photo viewer.

Thanks Sankar.

Regarding the vibrancy loss, in your computer you must be viewing it in the AdobeRGB colorspace, but in the the image from web is shown using the sRGB colorspace which is not that capable to display vibrance as AdobeRGB.

Which camera? How did you process the shot? When you load it in PS and press Ctrl+Y, do you notice the same vibrancy loss? (Press it repeatedly, it toggles)

I tried Ctrl+Y as you suggested but when i do that the vibrancy levels drop far more than the pic on the webpage. Main difference is in the reds, top of the red clip in the center loses a leettle bit of translucency once the image is on the website.

I saved the clips pic from the webpage to my hdd and viewed the downloaded as well as the original uploaded file side by side in Win photoviewer. There is a difference, i guess the image is altered when the Tbhp watermark is added.

Cam is a 40D with a 50mm 1.8 prime, just learning. Processing: RAW --> LightRooom --> 16bit TIFF --> PS colour adjustments et al --> PNG/JPG
