Hey Thanks,
Currently i am on an assignmet of posting one image per day on flickr(clevermax gave me this assignment:D). I am now concentrating mainly on the technique and little bit of composition, PP is somthing i will slowly venture into. Till then i have Clever to help me(god bless you dude).

Wow, what a PP....! Hats off to whoever did this. :D
@Klub: So you became their "Swargathile Katturumbu" or "Kabab mein haddi" :)
@Preetam: The flower close to the camera in the first shot is kind of disturbing, otherwise I like the selective saturation in that. The sky could have been leveled down a bit.

Pramod, is it a tripod shot, long exposure ? Looks vibrant, curious to see the 'before and after' PS :) (what is PP ?)

Its a hand held shot on the second day of me purchasing the cam, The colors are equally vibrant in the original raw file as well, Clever has mainly worked on levels and saturation. It was not a long exposure shot, it was shot using auto mode as clever instructed me to:D, as i wanted to see the capability of my pics, i requested him to do some post processing (pp) which can be best done using PS CS4(it was shot in raw). Even i had a misconception about PS Job before, as most of us think it kills the actual photographer in you. But in these days PS has replaced the dark room setup of those days. An beautiful image has 3 parts
1. Composition
2. Settings of the camera and lighting
3. Post Processing
I saw some raw files of some really amazing pics others took and trust me they were all great compositions but without any PP looked ordinary, thats how i found out that its always better to do some amount of PP.

The original looks like this. Since this is an ISO800 shot, I reduced noise as well, while doing PP - that was using Noiseware.
Tried diffusing light with a cloth...

Uploading the Pics,
1>Mumbai Locals.
2> CST station
3> Helicopter at Marathon.
4>Macro
5> Able to capture the blink
6> Tradient Towers
what happens when you introduce your new pet German shepherd to a street cat.. :P
But after sometime, cat just realised that the dog is still a kid, and not a very smart one yet. So he just decides to grab the opportunity to pose for a pic here !
