Captured this on my recent tripm to Srisailam, as we were driving away from the temple, saw the pinnacle of the temple in the OVRM. Thought it could be a great capture. Did not have time to compose the whole shot as there was traffic behind with continous honkings.
Could have been composed better, need more ideas about composition.

3 different moods,
I like the bokeh in the first one, i like the mood in the second one and third one is my favorite

I was joking on the 'lying' part, please don't take it seriously! :) And yes, you can have a little bit of noise in the picture, which can be fully eliminated by using some noise reduction software like Noiseware. |
I was joking too:). Well I have printed that shot to a A2 size. At that size anything would be big time visible. Plus yes Noiseware does remove noise at the cost of details. That's from my previous experience with other photographs which I have processed with Noiseware.
BTW, Dude I checked your flickr. Awesome shots in there. I left you a message in there.

Anirban.
@Pramod, the tip of the boat with that background (orange light) looks beautiful. I missed such a shot there!

Thanks a lot mate!
You can use noiseware to actually create a noise free image and then place that image on top of the actual image layer in PS, and apply a layer mask to selectively reduce some noise (may be sky) and not to lose details from the subject.
Another boat which was lying near the boat in the post above by pramod:
Did an HDR after some time, 3 exposures spaced at two stops from each. No NR did in Photomatix nor in CS4. ISO 100, f/8

Well that's what I don't want to do much. i.e. less PP and more direct results. Anyway 2 different school of thoughts.

Anirban.
My First Shot of a watch.
Hows the pp? C&Cs Needed.
@Gods_envy : I am no guru. Just an amateur like you. But I love the 5th shot of the red rose. the droplets stand out beautifully.
Well here's one from me.
Model : My friends' Glasses. He went blind during this shot.lol:Nothing more than experimentation
Camera used : Canon IXUS 900Ti
Colour Correction : Photoshop CS3

A bee on a daisy!

@Robimahanta : Great Pic buddy. Just cut out the exposure levels a bit, then the image will be more dramatic. anyways its brilliant in its sock form. please see a bee pic by me on the last page too.

So, you too reverse lens eh? Nice macro of the spidy. If you reduce the zoom towards 18mm, you'll get more magnification - at least that's the case with my kit lens. |
yes, that how reverse lens works, lesser the focal length higher the magnification. But at the same time the AOF goes down dramaticaly. Recently learnt how to contol the apature while using revese lens.
Here is the comparision
Wonderful photos guys! Been busy with work off late, so making sorts of a comeback to my fav forum :)
@clevermax
Brilliant stuff. I loved your boat pic, a tad saturated in my opinion, especially the sky.
@Anirban
Haha, you dont like pp. Now thats a classic case of sour grapes :P
An old friend.

Thanks! It's so encouraging to see some comments from you!
Yes, I fully agree that it is over saturated, in fact I reduced the saturation levels on the PSD after I posted the picture here.
I posted it on flickr with a bit reduced saturation.

It may still be higher.

True. The less the focal length, more magnification. BTW, how do you control the aperture? by hand?
The first photograph is a portrait of a friend. This was shot at the famous sakleshpur train track trek.
The last three photographs are from the "Flower show" at Lalbagh which was held as part of the republic day celebrations. The flowers had not changed (compared to the previous show) but my compositions did.
C&C please :).
