And this is when you decide to take your cam to the control pit ! I know its a technical picture, which may not belong to the beauty shots posted all over here ! But still, not many get a chance to enter here.

The last one !

Just one more from the pit, the overhead view ! As I said its not a commercial and its not in the air, just a warm up routine done hours before a trip.

It is fun, with the kind of effort required its surly a childs play.

This is how i did it. Things needed

1.A small incense stick to create smoke.

2.Black background

3.Angry Wife to hold the light

Took the image which looks like this.

The Official non-auto Image thread-test.jpg

Cropped the image and did a hue saturation correction to get the desired colors used multiple layers to create multiple colors.

Finally inverted and merged the image to create the desired shape and finally inverted the colors.

Nice work Pramod. Very captivating. But IMO, in the last image ^, the brightness could have been decresed a bit. Looks a little overexposed. Just my 2 cents.

Riju, how do you do it man ?
Nice one again. You "process" the shots with some s/w ?

Clever and TG gave me some quick hints. If you have done PP, now I know how it helps.

True,

Lighting is the major thing, since i used the torch, the point where its highly exposed is where the light was focusing at. I am still learning and while browsing through techniques i found this one fascinating. Kindly excuse my amateur photography skills.

Pramod, I guess I'm only a fraction of what you are.
Amateur is too high a word for me.
Its just that I have some interests in photography and nothing more.
I just said what I felt happened in that shot. Seems that I wasn't wrong

Clever, I am not, but my co-brother is flying around the world over 100 times in a year in an airbus 319. So you get an idea ! Here is one from his camera (african safari) !

Preetam, OT: we share common interests, I have 2 guitars, i followed your guitar thread as well. I just had a glomus tumor removed from my left middle finger so cannot really play now. I didnt even own a camera till January clevermax is the person who decided my equipment. He patiently taught me for days together, i am a very slow Learner . I have not yet reached the full potential of my kit lens. I am lazy to carry my camera around.

One more
