Hello Guys:

Here a photograph from my recent expedition. I am new to the world of photography and this is first exposure which I really liked. I thought to share with the gurus on this forums for suggestions for improvement. I dare not show the other photographs :deadhorse

This shot is taken through the glass window pane of the report and hence the reflection.

Cheers!

The pic was clicked by dad. He doesn't remember the settings. The pic was a bit on the lighter side. The current pic was achieved by adjusting curves (Ctrl+M) in PS.

fatboy and prateek, nice work. fatboy, you seem to be enjoying your D90, expecting more great compositions from your end !

No offence bro, but it is a tad too overdone for my liking.
I love the original elements to be retained in the picture.
The composition is breathtaking but I'm not so sure about the PP.

One from me, out in the streets...

Loved the moon and the flag in frame. Went ahead and clicked it.

That's an awesome shot Prateek.

Sharing another old photograph I shot some time back. This is another hand held shot. (Can't really remember if I had shared this one here before)

Thanks.

This was shot during an adventure camp at a resort near Wazirpur, 30kms from Gurgaon.
There were various events like wall climbing, pottery, rope walk etc. I was mostly looking at everything through one eye ;)

One more from me.
I call it:

Good one preetam. To justify the caption, you could have avoided the guitarist from the frame. Just my opinion.

@Shaju: Thanks and yes i am having fun with the D90. In fact, during my recent trip to Kanha, I did find the kit lens woefully inadequate. I have bought myself a Nikkor 70-300 mm, things should be better now. It is taking quite sometime to master the various functions on the D90. Good camera that!

@Preetam_korg: Super shots mate, I don'r much about photography but I really enjoyed those.

Cheers!
