Lovely shot in there. I loved the reflecting eyes of the bird. I happen to have the older non APO version of the same lens. But, never got so close a shot with a bird.:thumbs up

Got very bored at home. While watching an IPL match me and my friend did this. Tried some torch photography.

Anirban,

Thank you! I was lucky to get that close to that bird and it was hardly for 5 seconds I guess.

kpzen,
Thank you mate. I didn't buy this lens. A generous friend gave this lens to me for the weekend :). But now, I want one too.

Praful,
I like the lighting and the texture. Nice shot!

Thanks guys, learning is always fun. HW, I wish I could spend more time with you as you have some tips for every subject of photography. I am yet to open the files you copied on my PC. Here is the 'sync' sisters for you ! More soon. :)

Amazing shots shaju!
Beautiful!
I was really confused when the sync shot discussion was on... stupid:

Shaju,

Lovely photographs! I like sync sisters. The one I have has a little bit of camera shake and how I envy your VR lens :P. BTW, I am game, let me know when we can meet up :).

Thanks Preetam. HW, here is the master of 'sync' art who is supervising the sync sisters. I dont know if you noticed the master while at the lake. Looks like he is the one who coaches them everyday !:)

Is the bokeh good? Tried to keep only the center in focus and DOF was razor thin, I think.
