@hellwrath
The first n third is a class apart from the rest you posted! Well done!
@klubklass
Glad to know you think so.
Black skies - A series from my 28 mm f2 manual focus lens.
Regards,
TG.
@TG: Beautiful skies. I am uncomfortable doing this, how did you manage this with your D3S inside the plane?
An SOOC (Straight Out Of Cam) shot - no PP

Exif: 1/13s, ISO100, f/8, 210mm, evening sunlight
There are great pictures. Every picture tells its own story. From the land to the sky vaw.
@clevermax
Its easy, just take the damn thing out, and shoot! I did not have a biggy lens on though, all those are with the 50 mm f1.4 lens.
Regards,
TG.
Thank you Klub Class and TG.
TG,
I love the 5th picture. Beautiful! And lucky you guys (TG and Clevermax), you have access to old lenses. For us canonians, it's difficult to find old lenses, and even if we do, it's difficult to get the converters to EOS mount here in India :(.

Hmmm does canon have different mounts? There is a shop nearby where i and clever visited. This shop has a lot of old canon lens(5-6 to be precise :D) has a 50 mm prime, a macro and i think a kit lens as well(not sure as it was kept in a box) and some wide angle and tele convertors, i asked the shop owner how much and he was like give 2000(he has no idea of the prices) Looks like some one must have been very desperate and sold it to him really long time ago. I now feel like selling my 1 month old alpha and going for just a canon body and pickup all these lenses, let me know if you are interested, next time i and clever head that way i dont mind picking up all of them for you.
Best idea would be if you have anyone in UK US there are some pawn shops where you can get some really cool deal.
Pramod
Pramod,
I'd be interested if they are in EOS mounts. Kindly do check if they are EOS mount and I might be interested. Thanks again! And well, I had seen one deal on JJmehta which had tempted me to sell my Canon and go for Alpha. But eventually he withdrew the sale! :D Ah, the gear buying addiction. ;)

The shop owner has no idea and we do not have any canon users in our circle tell me if i post a pic of one of the lenses he asked 2k for can u tell what mount it is?
I think we should take this discussion to the DSLR thread (mods please do the needful)

First one is the best in this, it gives a feel of some familiar place in stories and novels. :thumbs up
I got my 35mm 1.8, really liked the lens, its an amzing low light performer !! Bokeh is really precise. Sharpness is pleasing. Just 2 test shots.

Nice but you suffer from hand shake syndrome :D, The pic is little blured.

More than that, I think it was due to the fact that I was experimenting with Manual mode:D. Here's an earlier photo I had taken some time back near Meenmutty falls in Auto mode(had already posted this once in travelogue section). But yes, I am on the lookout for a good tripod. Was just talking to Jk regarding this.

Thanks Shaju!! Congrats on your new lens. Do give street photography a try with this lens, it's best suited for situations where the FOV you want is similar to what you actually see. I am waiting to get my hands on a 35mm prime myself (Canon). And yes, I read about your neighbour. Do let me know if he'd be interested in donating his stuff to a young amateur like me ;). Hey, am just trying my luck here :P.

May be too early to try the Manual mode. Try the shutter priority and aperture priority modes, it gives plenty of experiment opportunities. Spider shot is good, it was the subject here 2 pages back. So JK started tripod business too ?:) How is the potential in TVM ?

Very true, you can see what you are going to get almost 100%. And about my neighbour: he has film lenses of Nikon and Tamron (few primes and some zooms upto 300mm) that has a different fitting altogether. I already tried my luck, but I dont think it can fit into any of our DSLRs. :Frustrati
