Thanks, the organizers were generous enough to let me go very close to these performers during the show.

Pramod

I am not aware of the biological nomenclature of these lepidopterous insects.....just found the colours to be attractive. Welcome if anybody can classify them.

Some of my pictures while in Lucknow. I had not taken my HS10 and had to make do with an L21 that I purchased in Lucknow.

Imambara in the Lucknow Residency complex. There is something interesting in the photograph, tilt on the top and distortion at the bottom. Wonder how this has happened.

Here are some of my initial experiments with light.

@Kpzen
Excellent images. Wonderful!
Regards,
TG.

Very nice pics and no offence to anyone but the HDR shots on the previous pages, not to my taste :(

Anyways, found a link containing some of the best HDR shots:

Also, special kudos to kpzen, TG and CrazyDriver. Some of the shots are just pure brilliance! :)

These are moths. The first one has psychedelic colours. Have never seen.

Well, nothing special, but these days I am concentrating manual mode, raw format and same shot with different f value. Earlier I was using Timer mode.

Here is one more,

Pawan, good to hear that, welcome to the RAW club :).

I spotted 2 types of kingfishers on Saturday. (Around 90 types exist). Hope I can spot them with their 'catch' next time. First one is with tripod, second one is hand-held, you can easily make out the difference. Both are 400mm f/5.6.

Thank you.

Which camera do you use? That picture of yours was awesome. Most of the snaps here are so good, I think that Photoshop is being used somehow. :)

@pawan. That reptile looks fantastic! Couple of them from my side.
