Super cool picture Pawan, One the best from you I belief, little more wide would have even better. The shadow of the tree also in blue. The blue sky was lacking in the first picture.

Nice Macro preetam_KORG.

Well, thats just the Nikon 14-24 f 2.8 for you. If I had any foreground, it would have been blur(due to DOF) but with focus on infinity, the glass is so well made that it actually is that sharp.

Exposure 0.033 sec (1/30)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 14 mm
ISO Speed 320

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

TG, this is really sharp and lovely, but I liked the image with boat on the left which you are yet to post One doubt though, you mentioned D7000 in the previous posts, did you add an extra "0" by mistake ? Are these shot with a D700 ?

Thanks buddy. I stay corrected, if possible ask Ragu to share the snap of Heron taking off. BTW where is this image shot?

This is lovely. I liked this the most.

One from my Lalbagh walk. I know the garbage is distracting, comments welcome.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

@Jacs
Thanks. Nice one there! If the garbage wasn't there and if you had gone lower on the angle, I think it might have made a better shot.

I had a D700 and a D7000 with me while going on this particular shot. These boat shots are with the D700.

And you might have meant this shot. Though I liked the previous one more, as its more balanced, despite breaking conventionality.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Sigh...the 14-24. I had almost bought it but Rudra Da dissuaded me sitting at Leh. Instead asked me to go in for the 24-70 F/2.8. Another lovely piece of glass...

Its a good moment captured, I have the same words what TG typed, but knowing the place well, I know going lower is out of question and garbage could be cleared through PP without issues Are you cropping your images ? If YES, concentrate more on composition so you can avoid crops.

Yes this one. I am wondering if I could get some tutorial links on how to maintain white/light lines in the image as yours. Not successful so far although I try my best to enhance them.

GD, I think Rudra Da would have suggested 14-24 if he was sitting at Delhi that time I heard even a 70-200 is super wide at Leh !

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

I haven't done anything extra to enhance them or anything, I never have had a problem with maintaining whites in my images.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

@tsk and TG. The shots in posts 11225 and 11228 are of the same location and more or less taken at the same time (assumed based on the clouds and reflections etc.). How come then one is bluish and the other is of a different color? Is it because of different white balance setting?

I shot on auto white balance, I think Tanveer also shot with auto white balance. But since we use different cameras, the auto white balance varies and thus the different tones. Anyhow, it can be edited in post by adjusting white balance since we both shot in RAW.

What about the difference in colours because of picture taken at the time of sunset and picture taken 15-18 min post sunset. I read somewhere in photography tips about it.

@pramod
Brilliant shot!!!

@TheBeastFieast
Well, thats not the thing I was talking about. I was stating why those 2 images shot at the same time looked a little different.
