Tan, either I'm out of sync or missing something. Did I read right - Nikkor 70~300 VR? You switched over to Nikon? Why & which gear?

How did you take this shot & from where?

Yes, used Photomatix.

Shot it from the Roof of a residential tower on Fbd Road. Clicked a single handheld pic in RAW. Made 3 exposures out of it using Canon DPP, keeping all other things constant. Blended the 3 exposures using tonemapping in Photomatix pro, saved it as JPEG.

ranjith if I were you I would exposed the image a little more.

Very beautiful capture.

After long time, good capture, you should have tried 2 exposure shot and use HDR.
Sky look very contrast, have you used CPL? or HDR ?

You missed my posts on DSLR thread :D.
Basically I wanted to upgrade my 350D.
I checked out the 60D and 7D, and really liked the 7D. But 7D was very expensive. So in my search for a weather sealed body, I ended up with a D7000.
Only drawback? I have a Tamron 10-24 UWA lens which I need to get rid off. If I had stayed with canon I could have retailed this lens.
Anyways, I am happy with the lenses I got (16-85) and 70-300 VR, hope to try it out on the next trip!
