I hope amateur photographers are also allowed to post here :)
Attaching one pic from a trip that I took to Norway late last year. This is taken on one of the Fjord trips, and I really like the sense of calm it conveys. Sorry, I don't know how to do post processing and stuff. This is taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28.
Cheers,
Vikram

Boats are out of focus (slightly) because its a 30sec exposure :) Even a tiny breeze make the boats move, so you know...

@Shaju, The small island tells me its Sankey tank! Pardon my ignorance, why is 30 second exposure needed? ..... |
It is Sankey tank, no doubt. Long exposure is to make the water silky smooth. Its taken around 7pm just before the park lights came on. Here is one after the lights were ON at f/16, 20 seconds. I realized sensor has lot of dust, need a cleaning soon.

Started using my new Canon 1100D with the kit lens. I am now using different modes to see the results. Attaches is the pic which I clicked in the Mapro Garden with the kit lens

Yeah, that part struck me later. I thought it was more like a 10 second exposure. Heh heh. :D
The picture looks better on Flickr.
Taken with my SE phone-cam in Jan 2007. Cropped.

Hi, looks like a pic straight out of Malgudi days. Rural and rustic places offer interesting sights and experiences. I had read about farm tourism, and after seeing this snap thinking of planning trip on this theme.
Cheers

This is really amazing, seems like they are assembled on command.
A baby cormorant found in Wayanad.

Some lovely pics there.

Thanks VindyWheels. Your comment actually made me realize that that style of bullock-cart is slowly making it's way out. On a recent visit to my grand parent's place, I noticed newer styles in use. They no longer had the thick wooden wheels or that wooden frame. It was all metal .. signs of the changing times, I guess :(

You have echoed my doubt as well.

@bluevolt / Anmol Sharma: Really liked the second of your pictures. The pictures are very grainy though. You were obviously shooting through a window, but what were your settings?
