Welcome to the Thread Bhagath. Loved the last pic.
Couple of shots from a local AFL match at MCG last Friday. A long lens was sorely missed.
Some avoidable distractions at the bottom of the frame in the first image. Didn't want to crop it too much.

Nice shot v&v. Is it a glass with water drops? |
Thanks. Its shot from Bisleri bottle mounted on a dispenser. Like the first shot at MCG. A pana would have be really beautiful.
@ bhagathgowda - Liked the last pic.
Another closeup. Water drop view.

Loved the treatment done on Rosary church image. Curious to visit that place, probably this weekend. Someone wants to drive and I want to shoot :D |
Had been there last week. 3/4th of the church is submerged, so you cant really get close to the church. Water should dry in 3-4 months time, that should be the right time to visit.
A couple of clicks from my side. Near Monterey, CA overlooking Pacific Ocean.
The bridge is called Rocky Creek Bridge about 15-20 miles from Monterey towards south.

Hi All,
Posting after a long time, got so inspired seeing the recent beautiful snaps from fellow BHPians.

Nice view, I might go crazy if stationed in such a place, because I love water, sea, lakes, streams :)

At first look I had thought it's lavender. But the second pic (leaf) clarified it. I didn't know that panikoorka had such lovely flowers.

I think you have a potted plant right? This is actually in Kerala (though we have in Bangalore as well but not with flowers) and the plant covers a large part around a coconut tree. It's pretty old plant now. My dad is an agronomist, shall check with him if any specific reason for flowering.

Even I didn't notice thought its there since when we started staying in our home about 20+ years. Its quite tiny flowers, these were shot using the Sigma 70-300mm APO DG in Macro mode with lots of patience for focusing :D.
