Here is my new friend... F4.8 1/800 ISO 640

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.

@ Clevermax nice click, 50mm lense rocks, I loved the quality of the image.

Matters a lot to me.

I don't do any PP of my photographs as all know. I only stripped the photo of colors in PS as I couldn't change the settings to monochrome while shooting in the forest (missed a second body).

Will post the colour version soon.

@gd1418: Nice catch! I'm missing the colors in that shot! Or the background had to be darker and contrasting with the big cat's color for the BW to look catchy -just my opinion!

Thanks sameerpb. Yes, 50mm rocks :) The quality is affected due to server compression here, enjoy a much cleaner version here.
One more from the same shoot
Exif almost the same.

Generally, some level of colors & level correction can only bring the image more closer to actual scene I believe. We shouldn't stay away from PP as if it is something which destroys an original image..

This seems to be the most common bird around the areas I move around. We call it "Salunki" in Marathi. I don't know the English name for it.

Monsoon has arrived. Clicked this before sunset yesterday evening.

Thats why its the most sought after lens in the world. If I have to walk around, I would prefer to do that just with a 50mm, serves all my needs. Btw, the product in picture has any connection to the title on it ? I thought BB10 is expected by year end !

Its now unofficially known as the "Poor Myna" because its the most shot bird in the world :) I feel you need to spend more time with the camera, group walks would boost our spirit. A street walk, a visit to the lake etc. all will enhance your collection gradually. Hope you are enjoying your shoots.:thumbs up

Thanks Shaju. Yes I am thoroughly enjoying my shoots. I carry my camera as if its part of my body these days. I have clicked 4,759 shots since 10th Feb 2012 (average 26 shots per day).

And I totally agree with you. I have not ventured into serious stuff such as street walks, lakes and forests yet. What I have done till date is probably just 5% utilization of the capabilities.

@shaju, it is not a PP'ed title, it is what the screen was displaying - it is actually a functional Dev Alpha BB10 which is given to app developers by BB.

Yes, it may be released by the year end or may be in 2013.
