Why would you want to use ISO 400 when you already have an excellent shutter speed available? |

This was shot during an evening safari where light conditions keep changing inside the forest with sunlight and shade. The higher ISO helps in ensuring decent shutter on most occasions, especially when time is critical. In this shot if ISO 200 would have been okay since the shutter would have been 1/1250 or so, but ISO 100 would have been a hit or miss situation with the 600mm lens. |

I sorely miss the like/thank button. @Ajay Satpute; Good pics and as I have also realised today's bridge camera's like yours and mine are good enough for every day photography and results are good and also using the phenomenal Optical Zoom is a breeze. My contribution is a 'kite' that paid me a visit at home. |

Took a stroll in a park in Pune on Sunday. Spotted this bird dozing happily in the middle of the pond. Anyone knows what bird is this? The pond is overcrowded with Lotuses. Liked the color on this bud particularly. Attachment 957302 |
