Honestly, I just LOVE this thread on TBHP. Better pics than the ones in any magazine except NatGeo of course. Superb photos Robimahanta and TG. Thanks for sharing - you guys are an inspiration

Congrats, Robi.
Shot at Azhimala Beach near Vizhinjam.

Dazzling Dahlia

Can anyone recommend a good (and cheap ;) ) photo printer?

e_t neat man, I used to live right there next to where you have clicked this pic.At the O'Callaghans hotel. The Quay was my regular hang out in the evenings. I think I had posted these earlier,

This Saturday morning, I was roaming around on a hill in search of, well...anything and everything. Following are some shots I managed to click (not in any particular order).

My favorite of the set

The bee started fluttering before I clicked, so the bee is not so sharp, but the small flowers are.

Some experiment with color & contrast.

Loved this shot. Just hoped the roof like thing wasn't there.

Shot this leopard at Bannerghatta Zoo. Look at the way it stares. The kind of stare you'd expect only from a big wild cat! Comments and suggestions welcome :)

Some up close and personal images of seagulls that I recently clicked. Was trying to get some unseen perspectives.

TG, how do you get all the gulls in sharp focus in the same frame?

@blue_pulsar: Awesome shot! Is this the original shot or a cropped image? Please share the equipment and EXIF data if possible.

Nice shot. The only thing missing in the snap is some catch light in those eyes!!

@ Ajay, you are doing great! Keep doing exactly what you did, every sunday, saturday or any day you find time. Practice can only make you even more perfect!

@torqueguru. Amazing perspectives. Whats the secret behind being able to get so close to the seagulls? seems as if they have perched on your lens hood clap:

meanwhile, here is a shot of a squirrel found on a tree next to my lab

Thanks @blue_pulsar. I had the same crib too! But could not help as I was in the balcony,
and that is the farthest I could stretch.

Lovely shots folks.

@ Ajay - The last pic is beautiful.
@TG - Awesome shots. How did you manage to get this perspective?

Up close and personal with a leaf!
