I just got introduced to this thread by RJ and I'am in awe of the pics posted in the last few pages, will need to find some time to go through the remaining 450 pages

Great Diwali shots everyone.

I dont have many outdoor shots my main subject now days in my kid.

Hey Riju, One suggestion, you need to straighten the horizon. The tilt is very much visible in all the shots. Other then that, I liked the 3rd shot for it's composition. Liked the view point of the 2nd one too but somehow feel that if rule of thirds has been used it would look much better.

TG, liked the last waterfall shot, it did looked like cloud is coming down as water. Previous one had a bad highlight in the water and it hurts the eyes.
Clever, that kid shot is very nice. So sweet..

PS: I want to share some pics here but after my Ladakh trip I'm not at all satisfied with any of my pics that I've taken after that trip. :-( And this is a bad sign it seems.

Many Pros use frontal light, but they use soft light, so no hard highlights appear on the person. Also, it depends on the kind of shoot and the mood they want to create. Also, there are many so called pros, who do a not so good job when it comes to lighting.
