@Harmon_bro : Liked the color tone of the image.

Some birds that I captured at the zoo in Phoenix.
Canon 400mm f5.6 non IS, handheld shots at ISO 500.

The zoom blur is in-camera, not a pp effect. Black and white conversion is the only processing done here.

wonder how you managed to take such shot. Does camera matters? Is it possible to take such photographs using Canon 400D ? Soon I am upgrading to Canon 5D Mark II, hope I would be able to do some trick photography.

Pelicans @ Lalbagh

This was taken at Lalbagh, Bangalore. You can find many pelicans here at a very close distance.

Nice ones. I love birdies, and tempting to get a birding lens (Sshhh). Which lens?

Focus and twist your zoom while pressing the shutter release button.
Pawan, I thought you said there is no subject around you for macros, now this is an awesome close-up ! Real ?
You dont need a high-end cam for trick photography, an old Canon 350D can do wonders

Please reserve the word 'guruji' for the respected professionals around here, we are sitting on the same bench in the same class with a poor DSLR
About pelicans, they come and go as migratory birds, there was almost none few months back, but the recent news report said, plenty of them came to Lalbagh which might be again for few weeks.
That toy shot is very sharp and nice, is it shot while rotating or as idle ? If you can compose it well while rotating straight, it would be worth the effort !

Its Christmas season again !

@jacs : I love the way you have captured a lot of life in a lifeless top. I suppose the light played a great role in that..
@navin_bhp: Dude! fantastic photos..
@shajufx: I guess more shots from the Christmas season to be expected. Lovely expression on the childs face and nice capture...

Guys, do you think it is misfit to post the meagre photos captured using a 2 megapixel camera phone on this thread, in comparison to the high end stuff that you guys seems to be posting?

Well also does anyone know of a half decent way for macro shoot using a camera phone?

Anyway, un-die-ing motivation and I post..

I liked the black and white version, so you are master of PP now How was your one-day PP training ? Teach me some when you get time !

From today's evening shot. My society prepared and decorated the Xmas tree within our compound for the first time. I got plenty of natural shots of my society kids, which will occupy my whole week's spare time on PP. I am sure each parent will be excited to see their kids in action through my emails. Here is one before going to the actual Tree (she decided to take a ride after getting tired of hanging bells on the tree)
