I dont know. Anyways, its a first try. Was hoping that the centre bud is in focus. (Rest should be out of focus)

Venkatesh, he has the same camera as mine. But I have the advantage of better lenses. His composition is good, probably lack of PP robbed the sheen from the image because the exposure was tricky in that one.

@samurai san, I agree the exposure is good and framing is also good. The image is smaller and looked starchy (i could find a better word in my mental dictionary ) and noise levels looked like what a "good" mobile cam would generate and thats how i came to my good for nothing guess
and dont you have an Olympus+zuiko system san?

Yes. Bought it recently after comparing it with the competition. Main parameter was a camera, and k750i became obvious choice (although its an old model now)

But those pics are just too good for a mobile cam!

This link has some shots that I first took on my EOS 350D. Would appreciate some feedback. Please note I am still learning and will continue to do so.

Hey really nice beginning. I especially liked the opposite pics of the toothpics. background out of focus and then foreground out of focus and couple of blue car pics are also nice. However, i dont see the exif data on the pics when i save and check the properties?

Other images are under-exposed, it could have been better!

Thanks Mobike. I am not sure why the exif data is not available. I didnt manipulate it in any way.

On the underexposed ones, any suggestions to better them?

My new gear!

Finally I got myself a 50mm PRIME! I got a used one (manual focus), just to get used to a prime lens. Best part about it : TEN DOLLARS. (costed about Rs1000 overall with shipping and customs). Its ASAHI-PENTAX full metal mount! Absolutely rock solid.

THE LENS:

Well, not really an image to showcase a prime (its not a macro) just a start ... I got some good portaits though. (probably upload later). But I am still getting used to manual focus

Gosh! I could'nt even get a lens adaptor for my canon S1-IS P&S for this price.

In Picasa the default option is to not show Exif information. If you want it to be available, the option need to be selected in Settings.

@mansidea - good exposure.
@Kvish - Liked the flower. Lovely colours and texture especially the green. On closer scrutiny i noticed a black plastic rope kinda thing dangling from in between the green leaves. What is it?
