Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() An hour back I was on a business call on the mobile phone and started looking out of the window. At a distance I saw something moving, after a while I realised it was a long snake. So I took out my backup dSLR E-500 from the drawer and got out of the office, still being on the call. By the time I reached there, it had vanished. I just walked around a while talking on phone and suddenly I scared away a peacock, may be a peahen. Since I was on call, I could only use one hand to shoot with the dSLR. It was like driving while talking on mobile, resulted in a shaky image. I didn't get chance for the second shot, it ran away quickly. The shaky image gave a rainy effect, just wanted to share it. The caller on the other side was pretty excited with all this. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() fantastic picture sks! great timing! and brilliant job with the focusing. did you do it manually, or did the cam help you out? Last edited by rippergeo : 21st May 2008 at 07:49. |

| ![]() Thanks. It was focused manually as the bee was buzzing around (AF would be hunting if I'd try it) |

| ![]() thats what I thought. however focusing manually would also have been tough. I know, because I've been trying. maybe the bees here are not as co operative as in Kuala lumpur. jealous of that shot! the detail is very nice. one can even see the pollen on its hairs! |

| ![]() was chasing the sun in my swift. the sun won. I got caught in traffic and had to settle for my second choice destination as the light was failing fast. had been expecting a beautiful sunset today ever since last nights showers, but work kept me from getting to willingdon island on time. had to settle for shots from the old mattanchery bridge. ![]() I know my composition is lacking, but not sure where. would someone help me out please? |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() @rippergeo, your living in heaven dude. These are some amazing sunsets which are captured by you extremely well. And your lucky to be seeing it on a daily basis. Did you change the WB for each image. If yes, what was choosen? Which camera do you use? |
