That would be the absolute ideal scenario Sir :)

Does anyone know who the distributor is for Vanguard tripods ?

I do carry two bodies when required. :)

Make sure your body is switched off. Find a nice flat surface, loosen the rear cap and place the lens on the surface front element down. unmount the lens and place the rear cap on. Quickly remove the rear cap from the second lens and mount. Make sure the body is facing down all the time.

And a little something for your enjoyment, not car related, I'm afraid :D

Good capture, using any support for those heavy lenses? I have a couple on similar lines, though I am only starting off, no great stuff and can't upload.

Yes, that method is the classic ideal scenario again, thanks for sharing anyway.
Good to carry two bodies, not only does it do away with the lens changing requirement but that actually makes you ready for a lot more options on the go. The only gripe is that all these possibilities change the weight from ones' pocket to the shoulders :)

Good day!

Thanks TheBeastFieast and Jaguar. I have kind of locked on to Vangaurd Up-Rise 48. I liked the bag very much, at the price of 6700 INR after discount, might pickup tomorrow

BTW got my Nikkor AF-S 35mm F1.8 recently and I am just loving this lens.

I understand you did not get the joke. :D

On a more serious note, yes, the lenses have a bayonet mount.

That is what most professionals do, especially wedding photographers. You need that if you do not want to miss those special moments. :)

Guys how is the 18-200 IS Cannon ? Decided on the Cannon 550 D and need one all purpose sharp lens.

As of now I plan to sell the images I click to magazine or anyone who is willing to buy or work as a freelancer in my 4 month vacation in India. Will it be good enough ?

I am not an expert in photography but looking to buy Nikon 3100 as my first DSLR with 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens. Please guide if my choice is correct. Canon 550D is much more expensive (approximately by 13K) and is beyond my budget.
What about Panasonic GF1. Is its picture quality up to the mark with these two?
Looking for mainly a still photographs. Video not important.
