Hi,
I use Avg .Its free, descent protection against even Trojans and it works for me like a dream. I also used AVIRA in the past but it kept interfering with my IPOD and got my autorun.exe file deleted from my IPOD.So stopeed using it now.
I would vouch for Avira as the best Free Anti virus scheme.
I also have a MAC BOOK AIR with me and I know that MAC compuers are not affected by Virus but I would like to have it protected anyways.
Any suggestions for good antivirus for mac's ?
Regards
Arjun

I been using Sunbelt's VIPRE anitvirus and CounterSpy anit-spyware. Pretty good in terms of virus and spyware detection and cleaning not to mention less usage of system resources.

The basic difference is the firewall. Smart security also includes a good firewall as well.

Kindly suggest me a nice antivirus software for my windows 7 equipped PC

I have just purchased and installed a licensed version of windows 7 on my PC. But to my horror, the kaspersky internet security 2009 is not compatible with this OS.

Tried hard at many shops, but could not find a decent replacement.

Can anyone help me with finding out a good internet security/ anti virus software which is compatible with windows 7 home premium?

Kaspersky Internet Security free trial download

I think this might be useful to you. Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is fully compatible with Weven. If you already have a valid license, try this: Upgrade your Kaspersky Lab product

try Avira AntiVir - its free for personal use. not free for office use though (personal edition can not scan network drives)

the trend micro in our office is a dud.

IT persons from our office trust Avira to scan out viruses.

Sid

most of the Anti Virus Softwares dont support windows 7 officially yet.

So you can still try installing AVG which i think should work fine for windows 7 and i am going to do same this weekend.

You can try Mcafee and it came with my windows 7 laptop so it will surely work

You can also AVAST its free for home users.

Avast supports Windows 7.
You can use the free Home Edition or Buy the professional edition.
Avast combined with Win Defender (though never seen any activity from it apart from downloading updates!) does a very good job in keeping the PC safe!

I'm using Avira on W7 and i'd recommend it. Avast is good too. AVG has poor detection rates.
