Here is the website: Kaspersky Lab eStore > Buy antivirus software online.
Buy it from yuvayantra.com

Once again a free software which has a firewall, Anti-virus and Defense+ (basically a internal process monitor). Although it it takes a little time getting used to it. But once you are through it, rest assured absolutely notttthing leaves or happens in your computer without your permission.

With these two guards on my computer, I never have to bother about anything.
Yes, I forgot to mention that in my earlier post, I am also using Comodo Firewall with Defense+. This is a lovely piece of software which blocks instantly and ask for permission for any incoming and outgoing traffic from my computer.

With these two, I had no infections for the last 2-3 years. Of course, you also need to be careful while installing and allowing any third party unknown software.

Wish you all a very Happy Computing.

We have to use whatever our institution buys in bolk. I have used NOD32 and now use the Symantec Endpoint. The only problem I had with NOD32 was that it will noto automatically check USB drives!

My son used Kaspersky and is very happy with it. The footprint is indeed tiny.

Guys, I'm badly in need of help. For the past 1 month I have been facing this wierd problem; whenever I start using my PC, the refresh screen ( which we get when we right click on the desktop) automatically comes up and it just refreshes itself innumerable times. I become helpless then, untill it eases out, again when I use IE or someother application it starts it act. I have tried many things to solve this, but still clueless. Trying T-Bhp as the last resort and hoping that T-Bhp gurus would be able to solve this, else have to go to complete format. Pls. Help!

I use AVG Internet security & it works quite well. Does not tax the PC with like Norton & Macfee resulting in sluggish system.

I used Avast also it is also a good Antivirus with free updates.

Bought kaspersky 3 user edition one year validity for 600 bucks total on Diwali - used up two of them. Very very decent. I have one remaining key with me - if anyone's interested in taking it for 200 INR (1/3 the cost), kindly PM me!

PS: Posting here since its not really a "Classifieds" item!

buying Kaspersky online is not worth it. ITs cheaper to go to a local computer vendor and pick up a copy. in chennai the rate is about 650-700 depending on the locality you pick it up from.

I myself bought Kasper sky 3 users combo for 600 Rs. and has used 2 of them, waiting for 3rd one to use. This is working quite well, no problem till now despite my son down load on line movies, games and music day and night. He has HP DV6 with 1 GB readon Graphic card.
I am using Norton since last many years and also working fine but its very costly, I will change it next time with Kasper sky.
Guys can you tell me, how to load anti virus when there is no DVD player in the system ?

If I understand you correctly, the "Right-Click Menu" pops-up and refreshes your screen automatically.

Things we need to check:
1. If you are on XP, make sure you have automatic updates turned on and perhaps you could run a full scan manually to see if you've missed any critical updates.

2. Please check if you have any unwanted programs installed. Our computer will start to act, if we have any weird programs listed here.

3. Since, this was happening for a month, do you remember installing any new programs/modifying Windows Registry which triggered this issue?

4. Run MSCONFIG to check the startup programs loaded on your computer.

5. Also, did you check the “Event Viewer” to see if we have anything reported there?

Hope this helps!

Jacksons, just download it from the kaspersky website. After installation, it will have option for "Activate commercial license" - put your activation key there!
