ESET NOD32 AV v3.

Paid for it because it's good and I'd like them to stay in business.

Using Avira AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus.

Regular updates and does the job well!

I use Avast. It's works well. Earlier I used Symantec (ditched as it grew in size progressively) and NOD 32 ( couldn't renew it after a while, but really a good one). I am satisfied with Avast. It has automatic update facility, so that new virus definitions are updated on the fly.

Just wanted to post here since I shifted to Macs about a year or so back. Never had to install any antivirus software. Although viruses exist for this platform as well but never ever faced any issues whatsoever.

This is the first PC that I have been using which has not been formatted even once after getting it out of the Box more then a year and a half back.

Am using Avast Antivirus for my home PC.Its free and has a free license upto 1 year.(can renewed after each year for free.)
Also virus definiton updates are released twice in a week.It does the job pretty good.

Since the OSs in the lap is of different linux flavour,no antivurs for it now.

Very few viruses are written for Mac.
Why should a Virus writen spend time on writing a virus for an OS which has less than 10% of the market share. He can get more bang for his buck writing viruses for Windows.
