Got myself a toy today, the Logitech Momo - MOMO® Racing Force Feedback Wheel
Works great, didn't have money for the G27, for now this will have to do.
Just has one drawback, No Clutch, really miss that, but while racing the paddle shifters really really help.

I have actually gotten this for the shift, really really works well, clutch would have been better.

Yup that is correct, the momo is a lower end gaming wheel, the Driving force and the G27 are much better.

HDD- WD Caviar Green 1tb

@kapilvgupta

Just wondering about your choice of monitor. If it is a monitor-cum-TV you are looking for, there are newer models available.

For eg this one. Bigger screen, better connectivity (HDMI ports) etc. for roughly the same price.

No keyboard/mouse? I just a Microsoft Wireless Laser 7000 and love it. The Keyboard is super cool executive looking and the mouse has a rechargeable base (no need for batteries for a long time!)

thanks for your suggestions..

@Xinger - the monitor you have suggested (Viewsonic VX2739) seems amazing and has almost everything I need. It has been reviewed here.

I choose to go with the LGM237WA coz of
  • inbuilt speakers (don't have much space for a 5.1 spk setup and I mostly work with headphones)
  • 2 HDMI inputs (1 each for my PS3 & WD Live TV)
  • AV+Component inputs (just in case I wanna hook up my Tata Sky too)
The VX2739 has an amazingly low lag (only 1ms GTG!!) but as this monitor was just released I am not too confident about it availability...still will check and let you guys know of its availability.

@navin - sorry forgot to mention the keyboard/mouse combo..was looking at the MS Optical Desktop 700V2
The MS Wireless Laser 7000 is awesome...will definately check it out

peace,
~kg

When you do have room consider Audioengines.

Thanks.
