The Corsair H50 is what I'm using. Good for someone who wants to do water-cooling but without bothering about it everyday. Since it's a closed system, it keeps working till the water pump fails. Keeps my C2Q at around 35-40 degrees all day, during gaming and CAD sessions.

4. Video Nvidia dual display
5. Monitors all on one machine
2 x LG 24", 1920x1280
1 x Benq 19", 1280 x 1024

7. WAN 2 Mbps
8. DVD writer

We have been assembling our own stuff for the last 15 years, and in the process have collected a lot of surplus. Any one interested may PM me.

That's 3.5 terabytes of storage. Damn, I remember the time when I had a 1.5GB hard disk. Could never copy both CDs of a movie I rented. :P

And how do you find the wireless network speed, for say, something heavy duty like LAN gaming ?

Ha Ha, the first computer I had was a PC with 20 MB (yes MB not GB) disk and 640kb of RAM. CD's came much later. The copying process would involve series of read source, write destination, read source .....

The Wireless LAN gives around 40 mbps. For heavy data transfers, we use gigabit Ethernet.

My CPU tempratures have been in the region of 48-52 degrees during normal usage and goes upto 58 when playing games like COD, etc. Is it necessary to put in another fan inside the cabinet?

How old is your computer. I ask this as the temparature can increase due to accumulation of dust over period of time. Just open the side and if it looks dusty blow it out.

Your gauge shows only one fan. An additional fan is always welcome. Beware that in spite of all fans, the computer can over heat extremely fast if the ambient is above 25. In case your system over heats even after adding fans, consider gaming in an air conditioned environment!

5. Casing(will buy from Delhi): Probably some CoolerMaster cabinet..What would you recommend?

6. Power Supply: No clue as in how much xxxW supply I would need for this system

7. HDD: 1TB Seagate 7200 rpm SATA (Link)
Will probably get two of these. Need ample amount of storage

8. Display: Not decided yet, suggestions welcome, requirement is that it should support HDMI and minimum size is 21". Should be good for gaming.

9. Keyboard & Mouse: Keyboard probably Logitech Multimedia Keyboard, Mouse Logitech MX518 for sure.

Just add the TDP of the Graphics Card and the Processor, and add about 300 watts, and buy a corresponding Corsair Modular Power Supply.

PS : I've got nothing whatsoever to do with Corsair, just a big fan. There are plenty of other brands, as you probably know.

Try to get a nice one from corsair, ocz, antec, thermaltake or coolermaster
I personally use a ocz gamextreme 600w PSU.

I googled and found out that the TDP of i5 750 is 95W, and that of Zotac 460 is 160W. Add another 300W and the total is 555 W. So, what I can say is that you're safe with a 550 W or a better PSU, with room for some future expansion.

A smaller PSU might do the job if you're keen on saving money, but I don't have any idea of the precise TDP Max of your system, so can't say.

The processor and graphics card are well-balanced. Google the motherboard model and go through forums and read what owners have to say about the piece. Sometimes, a particular model has a design flaw.

One thing I'd suggest is to see if you can fit in a WD VelociRaptor in your budget. They spin at 10,000 RPM, and have lower seek times, and can be used as a primary storage for OS/Software/Games. But they're available at lower capacities only.

I have been assembling PC for over 15 years. My experience is to desist from getting any but professional grade fully assembled devices from abroad. All components sold in Delhi (Nehru Place) come with warranty, while stuff bought abroad may not be honored in India.

The price difference in India is not more than 15-25% but the peace of mind and warranty worth it. In some cases especially hard disks the difference is minuscule.

Further if components are bought in Nehru Place, the seller normally helps in assembly and trouble shooting. Take it from me things rarely work the first time!

Regarding power supply, check if the card requires auxiliary power. Modern high power graphics card do, hence there is limited variety to choose from. Normally a high power CPU with a high performance graphic card would require at least 700W. 1000 watts is better as it gives you a head room for expansion. The differential cost as the power ratings go up is not much. Further modern power supplies deliver as much power as required with very low overhead.

Most of the modern CPU and graphics cards run very hot. If you plan to game in a non-air conditioned environment, the PC may overheat and blow itself. Adequate cooling is a must for gaming even in air conditioned environment. You will need a good cabinet with at least four fans which should be ideally controlled by the Motherboard.

For display a variety of monitors supporting HD are available. I have 2 x 24" LG monitors which were expensive (25K each). My son got an LG 21" Monitor-cum-TV for 15K. The monitor only would be around 10K.

Most of the motherboards support 4 SATA channels, as well as at least two IDE. So factor in four HDD along with a DVD/Blue Ray into the power equation.

NOTE

Dust is a devil in Delhi. So every two or three months open up the cabinet and get rid of the accumulated dust. It will surprise you how much your PC has collected. I have ruined a graphics card recently due to dust choking its cooling fins. The CPU has enough protection to shut down, the graphics card normally does not.
