Ask for a quote first - if it is close to that of a new camera, you know what to do!

Frankly I don't know what is my best. You can look into my Baleno and GV BHP garages, they are mostly shot in E-500.

Anyone knows a way out of the digital print crops which are done to maintain the aspect ratio by the processing labs for digital camera prints.

Also any links to freeware lossless jpeg croppping software, in my recent order I found some heads and sides being chopped off in the prints. Better to crop myself and then give it for prints.

I think it is better if you explain what kind of photography you plan to do?

If you are looking grey - go in for Nikon P80 (10.1 MP, 18X optical zoom) or Canon S5 IS (8MP, 12X optical zoom); both cost around 15k

Picasa.
No professional job, occasional moments capturing . So this rules out SLR & DSLR OR SEMI SLR.

....and it has been discontinued. E510 came later and there's E520 now.
