if iPhone is cheapest in HK ? How much is it ? Can we have some numbers ?

The numbers i got from Canada from my sis is as follows

The costs$ is 750 +Tax (14%)for 32GB,for 16GB $650+Tax

Canadian $ to INR is app 45.60 Rs

right now for online orders Singapore is the cheapest along with decent delivery period,3 weeks 888 SGD for 16gb & 1048 SGD for 32gb. Hongkong you can buy it only from applestore but wait period is close to 8 weeks. Next cheapest I guess is Canada.

Nope UAE would be next cheapest, i got my 32 Gig at 34200 INR, thanks to a friend.

Hey can you post the store details etc. here. I am planning to get one from UAE, not sure which store.

My understanding its sold by telco like Etisalat and DU, so you have to contact their stores. Again you might need a resident visa/permit to purchase the phone.

Is it locked with the provider? Also, i remember seeing that Fact Time is not available in their handset. Is it so?

iPhone 4 will be available on Verizon too from February 10th. Have signed up for any updates, let's see what info they provide over email.

Nope not locked but Face Time is blocked in all UAE phones :) Minor irritant coz it will work only on iPhone to iPHone and on wifi. Use Skype or similar and do it with many devices including desktops

Thats right, you can buy iPhone from Verizon without contract, however as per my understanding, those will be CDMA handsets.
