I already got rid of that sheet at the back :Frustrati. It was obstructing the camera lens view. Isn't the glass at the back supposed to be scratch resistant? Dust will always finds a way into almost anything, no matter what you do.

Use the screen protector available in market as a pair for front and back. Does its job well while keeping the phone gorgeous.

@Fuel_addict Congratulations! I found VMC to be little slow, luckily i have broadband wi-fi at home and work.

Congrats and welcome to the iPhone club!

If you're into gaming, do try out Street Fighter 4, the Need For Speed games and Asphalt.

@RajuShank: Thanks Man!!
Yes I am big time into Gaming. I have a PS3 too. Thanks for the suggestions. Will definately try these games.

it provides you with additional protect from oil strain, finger prints and sticky object from the back panel. Also, the other advantage is that if it get too dirty you can easily replace it.

The screen protector that I was using for the front picked some dust and developed air bubbles when I took it off for realignment. I have now ordered a pair for the front & back. The back cover has a provision for leaving the camera area open.

I too have Wi-fi access at home & office but found that it drains battery quite fast. VMC though slower is less taxing on the battery. Plus it is handy when you are on the move and have no access to Wi-fi.

I agree. Have ordered one for the rear panel.

In Dubai, the unlocked phone (till last week) was only for Enterprise buyers. Which means it is only being sold with a plan by Du. Etisalat had no stock. In a couple of months it may be available without a plan but not yet.

You need to buy a pre-paid connection from DU, that is all and you can cancel it off i guess. You have an officially unlocked phone then. But yes you need res proof to get one connection :)

Best is to get a bumper case, this will keep the glass off the ground, front and back. Get the original one, its worth the price.

I had bought the original bumper case from Apple stores when i was in Canada :

This doesn't protect your iPhone from scratches both front and back as it is open.

Finally a good sign.
My iPhone4(Factory Unlocked) is perfect and the culprit is my SIM Card.
I used my friend's SIM Card in my iPhone4 and is perfectly working without any issues.
I just indent a new Micro SIM from Airtel.will be in my hand tomorrow.

I have a QST.
Wheher iPhone4 Factory unlocked is hooked to a specific no.
As i told already my friend's iPhone4 has been working from day one and he too checked with his sim card in my iPhone4 too.
But it's not working in my sim card (Cut it in local shop using SIM Cutter)

Finger crossed till the new Micro SIM arrives :)

I am using a similar looking bumper bought from ebay. Does keep the phone surfaces off the ground (table); so is useful in a way. Aren't the glass surfaces supposed to be scratch free?

Dubai sells only unlocked phones. No FaceTime though for the time being.

If I buy such an unlocked piece from Dubai and bring it to India, will I get warranty ?

Yes, the glass surfaces are scratch free, but we can be extra cautious.

Iphone 4 16GB in Dubai Duty free is USD $1100, not worth the trouble. I rather wait for india launch or till June thru UK market, 500 pounds.
