but it's too bulky for daily use
yup, I hate that. and this seems to be the standard thing for all these new phones. Anything above 20mm thickness is too much for me. Looks wierd when you put it in your pocket!

I do. I've had all the XDA models so far (by different names - Qtek, Xda, iMate) and currently use an iMate JAM (XDA Mini) and a Nokia 9300.

Me, I cant live without one of those. But it could be what is called an 'acquired habit'

That's a problem with any tech product. The products get obsolete very fast since there is better technology/features coming up pretty fast.

Tell me about it.
In a weeks time, the grey market price of the 3230 fell by 2K.
But my sister got it for 16800 with an 2800 airtel perpaid card so i am not complaining.
Oh and guys how is the new 6230i.
My dad MAY get one and my dads friend has one.
It 17K in Grey (bought through some guy named SALI).
My dad has a 6230 which he will give to me most probablyu and buy a 6230i for himself as it has more features, a better screen and font size, and a key in the middle and some chrome too.
The resolution is better too. Infact its amazing in comparision.

yeah i looked at the D500, its a nice phone..but iono..17k is a bit too much for me on a phone..plus i rather really like the samsung flip phones. Im reading the review of the D500 though...excellent phone, but price a bit too much..hopefully it drops soon. Is the E800 available in india as well??

Going by nokia's release dates i think it will not release until early 2006. If it does launch at 30K+ it still would be a good deal considering it has so many features. Its an ipod mini+phone ...The ipod mini costs 200$+phone( a good nokia phone is around 400$)=600$(30,000Rs)

Hey Jesal,
Go to Heera Panna.
I called up my guy there and that is what he said.
Oh and we got a 6230i for 16.5K.

Hey Cali,
The D500 is just awesome.
It looks good, is small, has an awesome camera, 1 hour of video recording and i think MP3 also.
The K700i on the other hand looks somewhat ugly, has a VGA camera, limited memory. (20 songs and 50 photos - Not even enough for my car photos).
