Right! Why pay for just a thinner phone?

Motorola is coming out with the first Linux-based Smartphone which also comes with STEREO output to bluetooth headsets...also supports all other stuff like SD cards I/O, blah blah blah. Now why would you want to carry a music player if you could have something like that?

I own a Nokia 7600....cute little phone. Had bought it since I wanted a nice camera phone with basic video recording facilty when my son was born. Budget was a major criterea so picked it up from Bazee for 9k. Its almost 8 months now since I have been using this and it's been a gr8 phone....

Next phone......mmm...waiting for a 3MP camera phone to be available under 15K.....Motorola has already got one out but dunno if it's available here.....

Mainly have been using Nokia phones
just used LG for a year when I had opted for Reliance
Now again back with Idea & Nokia

My handset Nokia 6610i
Good looking, small, handy
has camera :( camera sucks as always for mobile phones
but bought it mainly over 6610 for its memory 4mb is freaking good

anyways for me mobile phone is more like a tool than a toy
so no plans to switch to another one yet
also now a days there seems to be more & more virus risk for SymbianOS based mobile phones

Samsung's launching a 5 megapixel camerafone, I think it comes with music player, SD card, radio + FM TRANSMITTER. The last one will allow you to play YOUR music over yr car radio or home stereo from the mobile. Cool, huh?

just when i was drooling after getting the 6680 they have started a new N series these are the 3 to be launched around july. good thing i dint get one already. good phones with 2mp and CARL ZEISS lens beat that. reason i love nokia they learn from their mistakes for sure. bet the pics are much better from here than the 7mp samsungs for sure.

yea but the bad thing with nokia is that the prices fall so fast!! i mean you buy a phone for say 20k the next week itself your friends comes up to you and tells you that it has dropped to about 18!! i mean ***!!!...and if you wait for the price to come down and stabilise then there are four more phones launched with better features and looks!!

totally agree with the drop in prices...feel low man..bought 6630 for 26k today it is worth only 18k not even one month old.
absolutely love the n91....approximate launch date and price plaease??

@ nitroxx : good stuff man. whats the cost to it right now. i am in the market looking for a phone. contenders are xda mini, 6630, 6680. not sure to go xda or not since i have heard the upgrade is round the corner, lemme know the price though, thanks

@ iceman : u sure the 6630 is 18k makes good value then. lemme know for sure. the n series will all be after july. dont think im waiting that long.

Errr...Does anybody make CALLS on these full-option mobile phones (they're still called that,right?) anymore?All of these sets are launched with astronomical price tags,which tend to drop at the speed of light in a few months.
Just for the record,I use a Sony Ericcson T630,with a Jabra bluetooth headset and an hp iPaq.I've got a N6600 too,but it's too bulky for daily use.
