@mohit: you will love that brick. I had the same concern abt size - but it soon becomes a non issue. And that 624Mhz processor is so snappy!

btw, anyone used the GPS feature on Bold yet?

- Before to bring the phone out of standby I could press the green answer key or the power button on top, now only the power button turns the screen on.
Problem fixed. WinMo 6.0 had that option under settings->system. for some reason the WinMo6.1 HTC rom has removed that menu option although the exe file is still there in the windows folder. Few registry changes and it's back in the settings menu. Any button can bring phone out of standby.

Now to find a solution for the other 2.

- When you receive an incoming call there is no touch button to press to answer the call. You have to press the green answer key at the bottom.

- The in call volume goes back to lowest setting for every call. You have to increase the volume everytime.
There is an option in the HTC touch viva which is like the iphone. slide finger to left to answer and slide to right to reject. Trying to see if someone has ported a cab file on xda developers forum for using slide to answer on ELfin.

Guys

Any first hand reports on the Nokia 5880 (I think its called Express Tube or something) touchscreen phone? A friend of mine who is a Nokia fanatic wants to buy it as it is priced incredibly low, but wants some feedback on the touchscreen interface.

Havent used it myself, so I am not qualified to comment.

Guys.. Need some help with availability info's...

I've been an Evid user of Nokia E62 for the past 1 and half year and love the phone and the form factor a lot. ( Only grudge is that its slow)

Now i'm thinking of upgrading my phone and have my eyes very much set on the E63. It has all the features i need Plus it looks and sounds affordable as well.

Now my question... Any Idea when will it be available in Indian Market. And ofcourse at what price. ?

I just checked on Welcome to UniverCell's Online Mobile Shopping Site. It is quoted INR 22k for Nokia E63. Highly strange that E63 is priced over E71, when it is actually a stripped down version of E71!

E63 will cost ~14800/-
Anything more than this will simply put it out of contention from the start.
E63 has a 2mp cam & plastic body. Also the box contents are stripped down compared to E71.

Guys,

Posing it on behalf of my friend. He is having problems using GPS on his Nokia E90 Communicator. The sensitivity is vey low and even when stading outside he get 1 satellite to show up on the scree. The phone is still on its original firmware from 2007.
Will updating the firmware help?
Did anyone else faced the same problem with their E90?

Thanks!
