Hey man ask your friend to check on ebay and gumtree and offer the seller cash in person. You will easily get it for way under £399..

I am tempted by the Touch Pro, especially as the SE X1 is RS10K more. SE really got their pricing wrong on that one in India.
I personally dont understand the touch + qwerty combination. What are we trying to achieve ? Viva looks promising at sub 15k on street pricing...

It seems gps receiver of samsung is bad. so they are pushing the handsets india without the garmin software(samsung mobile navigator) (garmin maps are availablefor india).
so all buying samsung i780 , omnia and others please get a demo of gps and guaranty for replacement or refund if gps dosent work.
Hi Gigy ,Do you like the phone ? Is it good for office applications. My friend recommends it over E71 .
What do u say guys ?

i780 looks good, feels good in hand voice clarity and gsm signal is good, good for office applications including pdf and powerpoints and mail access, is much faster than 416 processor/64mb ram phones. the data cable is proprietary, battery last me 1 day, screen visibility in sunlight is poor. i would recommend i780 to anyone except for the gps and non standard screen issue.

Here is a low end Phone query.

Looking for something in the region of 5k(can be stretched a bit)
The phone should have following -

- Bluetooth
- MP3 Support
- Expandable Memory

Nokia is preferred but other options are also open

Thanks

@ Technocrat:

Nokia 3110 classic.
pretty decent features at around 4.5 k price (all that u wanted + a 1.3 mpixel cam)
Throw in a 500 bucks more for a 2GB micro SD card and You are all set withing 5k

Nokia India - Techical specifications - Nokia 3110 classic - Products - Find products .

Go to technical specifications and use expand all.

Edit: This phone has all the features i have in my nokia 5300 which i bought for around 8k some 1 year back

Cheers

Agree with motoheadinc. I have been using a Nokia 3110 Classic for more than a year now. It cost me Rs 7000/- when I bought it, but the prices have come down. A good, sturdy phone. Dropped from my shirt pocket a couple of times, but no damage done. And yes, it's compact enough to fit into the shirt pocket. The camera isn't all that great, though.

@ technocrat

errr. (15 minutes over so cant edit the last post)

Its a nokia symbian series phone so u can use the 1.3 mp camera as a webcam (you need to download some apps for that)

Another Advantage, It has infrared so you can do the kind of mischief that bblost did

Some one shouts at the guy who has the remote.
He lowers it.

I raise it. some one starts shouting again.
This poor fellow is bewildered. He has no idea why the TV is now showing F Tv during lunch. Then some spiritual channel. Everything going crazy.

Was awesome fun.
