@dkaile; You are tempting me! This may be a serious option to replace my M7. One small point what is the SIM size - micro I assume.

Friends, Time to upgrade from my Nexus4. Need help from you for identifying a suitable phone. My requirements are 1) same ui as that of Nexus4 ex Apps in ascending order 2) Similiar size 3) Price about 20k

Same UI means you need close to stock Android. Moto X Gen 2 is the one that comes to mind. Flipkart is running exchange offers, so you can get 5000 for your Nexus (if you plan to sell it).

There was a big ~240 MB software update for the S6 Edge. I could not find any change log. Does anybody know what was fixed and what was changed?

About Zenphone (the older version): My colleague has it and I can confirm that the speaker volume is quite low. I had used it for a couple of calls and thought I am getting deaf. :) He agreed that it is low.
I am talking about the internal speaker (not the speakerphone option).

I have faced no such issues with the Zenfone 2. Though the loudspeaker volume is not the loudest that I have heard, it is quite adequate and the internal speaker has no issues.

Ok. I just got to know that we have this thread. I am looking for a mobile phone to buy asap.

My requirements:
1. Screen size 5"+
2. 1GB + RAM - (I need 1+ GB of RAM, fine with 1.5, 2 or more. My current Asus with 1GB RAM is very sluggish).
3. 16GB ROM minimum
4. 2000 mAh and above
5. Camera 5mp or more.

Please recommend models and how sturdy and durable the handsets are. I am keen on making the purchase in the next 36 hours.

Thank you.

What is your budget. With these specs you will get phones starting 7-8k right to 40-50k flagships.

If my requirements are being met in 7-8k phone i will go with it. It does not make sense for me to go for a 20k phone then. I am not a very brands guy, i don't flaunt my mobile - i am ok with a phone meeting my needs at the lowest price point.

Looking forward to some nice recommendations and links to buy online.

Thanks.

Go for Lenovo A6000 Plus, if on a budget.
If you have lots of money to spare then go for one of the flagships.

Got a Mi Pad. Looks and feels good.

A Q: Is MIUI still stuck at KitKat? Is Lollipop expected anytime soon?

Agree to TBPP.

Else on lower budget - Redmi2 Prime. MIUI is the only good alternative to stock android IMHO.

Which is the best offering from Sony with the current specifications like 2-3 GB RAM, since I heard that Sony phones have excellent camera quality ranging from 13-20.7 mp ?, Hardly there is any discussion of Sony phones here IMO.
Thanks

My Wife's Moto E 1st Generation is getting pop-up message Lollipop 5.1.1 update available.

I have asked her not to download the update, don't want to ruin her smooth experience with Kitkat 4.4.4

Android 5.1 is pretty stable and smooth, so I will risk!
