After hearing VW horror stories for years, this is a welcome change. I hope other VW ASCs learn from VW Hubli. Kudos to their staff.

re: Jetta Breakdown: Exceptional experience with VW Service

Just curious, why was a dog hit repair treated as warranty repair ?

Awesome experience.
This is what makes or breaks the customer experience.

This is more than customer care, VW have gone ahead and delivered customer delight.

Kudos to VW, please keep up the good work.

Great experience. In fact, too good to be true!

However, as Rohan asked, how was a dog hit repaired under warranty?

Regards,
Saket

Wow what an experience, it seems this VW dealer from Mangalore really knows how to please customers. I remember reading in the Jetta thread how they sent a car all the way to Bangalore to pick up a customer for his delivery. I wish more dealers could become like this.

Glad to hear a positive experience from VW when the forum is ridden with bad experiences reported from all around the country.

Thanks for sharing!

A Passat from VW Mysore IIRC.

Aah you are correct, stupid mix up from my side. Well good to see more than one VW dealer go out of their way.

Why not get 'this' particular team who was in constant contact with you throughout to made promoted to Customer service department in their headquarters.

The current team seems to be more useless so if these guys who helped you in this way need to applauded + recognized for their good work. Please do send these guys a link of this thread so that they get motivated and do attend the customer complaints in the same way.

Good to see a positive review for a VW dealer!

Anurag.

Rohan
Must be a goodwill gesture! Looks like they wanted their customer to go home smiling and change opinion about their service .

The Polo is the car we wanted to buy but because of the horror stories regarding after sales, decided not to. The new model in orange looked so smashing I almost reached for my cheque book, but everybody had some bad experience to share about VW, post purchase. Maybe this is true to Bengaluru region specifically. If things change, next time around I shall definitely consider this brand.

I just refused to buy a Skoda Rapid DSG due to VAG ASS horror stories ! Hope such good reports continue and I do end up buying a car from their stable.

Re: Jetta Breakdown: Exceptional experience with VW Service

Strange Thread !!!
This thread is an example that for VW, Skoda, Fiat, Tata, etc. providing good service is an exception, rather than a norm.
We have a new thread everytime when Maruti or Hyundai doesn't provide such good service experience and also when VW, Skoda, Fiat or Tata provide such good service experience.

Re: Jetta Breakdown: Exceptional experience with VW Service

It sounds like a Fairytale and it appears as VW service men have put on the caps of Santa Claus!

Its an out of the world experience when you consider the services being provided by VW HUbli Service Centre where you are not their regular or priority customer due to residence in Mumbai and might not be visiting them soon.

Also, the amount of efforts that would have gone in coordinating the communications and activities among VW Mangalore-Hubli-Mumbai service centre and yet making it like smooth sailing for you surely deserves applause.

Re: Jetta Breakdown: Exceptional experience with VW Service

This is awesome. I was quite skeptical to take the plunge for Vento DSG after reading about terrible A.S.S experiences of many BHPians. This post is so very comforting. I hope this treatment is not limited to only Jettas and Passats owners though

Re: Jetta Breakdown: Exceptional experience with VW Service

Great and refreshing experience! But I still wonder whether VW would have provided the same level of service if you had been the owner of a humble Polo instead of their most expensive offering, the top-of-the-line Jetta DSG. Fingers crossed.
