We love and trust our plastic covers

Plastic covers for TVs, Fridges, Washing Machines, computers ...

you name it and there will be a plastic cover for it sold somewhere.

luckily the car dealers are not yet charging for this as an accessory.

I think this is the height if all we have discussed above !!!
That is not good for the machine either as there will be no heat ventilation.

I removed the plastics after 3-4 days of the purchase, when I got seat covers and installed. Sun visor plastics are still there after more than 20 months now.

I am the one who remove the plastic covers off at the earliest chance. In contrast, one of my friend has been replacing the worn out plastic covers with the help of the service station guys.

Likewise. Before taking delivery, I instruct the dealership to get rid of them.

If its during the rains then may be they keep the plastic on the seats on for the season so that thier seats dont get soggy when they get in and out of the car in the heavy rains... just a reason... I dont like the plastic making noise at all but my dad insists not to take it off till the rains stop. I have been removing some of it bit by bit on the sly.

Moral of the Story - All those who have plastic covers on the visors for more than 6 months - do not use the visors.

Use them guys , they are there for a reason.

I don't use the visors, but wifey does. While I dont have any issues with the covers being on, after reading this thread I thought I would remove it. But my wife says, "let it be there. how does it bother you?".
Hmmm. Left it at that.

Apparently, Ford cars didn't come with the plastic covers initially but based based on a market research they started covering the seats with plastic covers.

Besides these plastics covers what annoys me are the stickers that are stuck all around the windshield and the bumpers. yuck!

Yes, Intially I kept the plastic covers on my Ikon for about 4-5 months and then on I decide to give my Ikon new leather seating .

Here's when I removed every plastic cover all in my car...

I am happy to have done that , the best appeal of the car and its parts is when seen in real and not through any covers...

I hate the Plastic Seat Covers

It heats up the Bottom Portion of my BODY when I sit on them for more than 20 mins, If you understand what I mean

I prefer the seats without Plastics so that I can enjoy my drive.

As we are on the removal of seat covers, should there be a run-in period for the manufacturrer set seat covers before we put in our Art leather or leather ?

Thanks
