Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Mod Note : Team-BHP's Official Maruti Ertiga Review has been uploaded at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the review thread. Thanks My closest friend(karthik) in delhi found this soon to be launched 7-seater mpv from Maruti Suzuki Stable. Don't know the model name but its top end, diesel model with abs. It was supposedly going to Japan for testing and approval as per my friend. They forgot to take the front pic. ![]() Any guess which one is this? ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by GTO : 25th April 2012 at 22:57. Reason: Adding link to review |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() SUZUKI LANDY as discussed in the below link ?? It seems to be LANDY looking at the A-section pillar. Google and you get the answer. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...d-versa-5.html Last edited by silverado : 1st June 2011 at 03:56. Reason: Additional entry |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Wagon R in Japan had different taillight design, so this could be INDIA Specific tail light design. |

Infractions: 0/2 (9) | ![]() @ Chevelle, brill job mate, pls thank your friends as well, beg them to click the front next time. Thats not the Landy, which is essentially a big Nissan MPV (this is smaller). Pointless shipping that back to Japan for testing. Gentlemen I think we are looking at the production version of the Rlll (auto expo), based on the SX4 platform, most probably powered by the 90ps Fiat engine. What a scoop if it is so, really promising car. This car was supposed to be developed by Maruti in house and perhaps going to Japan for evaluation. Looks short, sub 4 meters, should help Maruti price this competitively |

| ![]() Interiors look good, if priced RIGHT this MPV could actually blow the Xylo away. The innova with its facelift imminent might be for a different target audience all together. |

Senior - BHPian | ![]() That's a brilliant scoop Chevelle, yet another Team-BHP exclusive. From the pics, the rear design and the interiors does look good. So, it seems another success story is waiting in the wings for Maruti-Suzuki. |

| ![]() Great scoop Chevelle! This one surely looks promising. The cabin is nice. Looks like the top end version (ABS sticker on rear windscreen!) Can you please share the pics of RIII which was on display at auto-expo. Thanks. |

| ![]() Looks good, the fit lines look very tight and gives the vehicle a well built look. Has a little VWish design elements in the way it looks. Interiors are also good looking. Its great that it has a diesel engine too. Last edited by srishiva : 1st June 2011 at 07:51. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() The "ZDi" tag is interesting; Maruti's answer to the Tata Venture! |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() The ZDi badge is very interesting indeed. Hope MSIL is minting enough to badge the Gen 2 Swift aswell! Also, the dash and the steering wheel looks to be a straight lift from the Gen 2 Swift albeit in a beige and black combination. Last edited by deetjohn : 1st June 2011 at 08:42. Reason: Rewording. |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Since this one is badged "Maruti Suzuki" I think it is due for a launch in India soon. MSIL's answer to the Tata Venture I doubt but this one is surely another entrant for the taxi market. I see it as a model eating into the sales of the Xylo and Tavera as well to a certain extent. Lets see what seating configuration it offers and pricing playing a crucial role in that segment. |

| ![]() Im pretty sure it is this car. the front quarter glass looks very similar. ![]() ![]() The interiors are very modern and based on the new swift. I expect it to come with SX4's diesel engine and be priced similarly to it as well. It could actually give decent competition to Xylo and be a good option for a first MPV. |

| ![]() The interiors seems to sport lot of cubbyholes and there appear to be steering mounted controls as well. If priced right this could become a great people mover. |
