I am shocked to see the discussion of tuning box for such expensive cars right from the intial stages.
Getting bored after few years is expected, but not from the initial honeymoon stage.
Heh power is never enough. More is always better especially if the chassis can take it. I remapped my Volvo (though manufacturer sanctioned) at 1200km on the odo. I am sure owners of other European cars will also feel the same way. These days it's all too easy to remap a direct injection turbo petrol or turbo diesel since the engines are really overbuilt.

Re: 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class launched at Rs 40.9 lakh Ex-Delhi

The C was the new S for some time and now its becoming the new E.

Checkout these pictures of the 2017 model.

The those headlights are quite similar to the LED set-up in the new E.

Merc has confirmed an estate version of the C as well.

As many have said earlier, all three are the same car in S, M and L sizes! Somehow I feel this car doesn't have the sporty look of the W204. Usually the looks of a car grow on you but I'm starting to get bored of this look already, maybe cause it's not sporty enough for me. That said, the interiors are to die for!

Exactly my thoughts too. Outside looks too generic but the interiors are stunning and no other car in it's class can match it. I wish I could somehow transplant the new interior into the W212. :

Re: 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class launched at Rs 40.9 lakh Ex-Delhi

Greetings Everyone
We got the New C 220d in the family in November last year and it's not been driven much. It was 14 days old from the factory when we got it but when I drove it a day or two back I felt a little noise in the brakes. The noise only comes when the car has to stop completely. It's like rubber slipping or something. The 6 Months inspection was done a month or so back.

Could this be due to low running ? Or is it something I need to get checked ?. Already had an incident with the run flats where it got slit from the sidewall which I was informed is highly unlikely. Caused a little damaged to the bumper and fender when the car pulled left with the tyre mishap.

Regards

Imran

Must be due to the car going over a large pothole or bump at speed but losing air so fast that it caused pulling and subsequent damage is not regular, you must be doing some very high speeds I had suffered damages in RFT in past but nothing that caused car to pull over.

can be due to non-running unless linked to above incident. You can probably run little longer before complaining to the dealership. In any case, you should be adequately covered under warranty and I hope you have bought star care packages/ extended warranty. I understand these are now competitively priced and offers value.

Are you sure that the C comes with runflats?

Yes. The new C comes with Runflats.

Really takes its toll on the ride comfort. Very sporty but too harsh. Not European-comfy stiff but just hard!

You actually keep shifting the spare in and out of the boot before every Airport/Station run?

Hi all,I too recently purchased a new C 220d. Two weeks back to be specific. It's the style variant though . It comes with 225/55 profile 16 inch tyres. And they are not run flats.. It rides better than the avantgarde variant which has 17 inch wheels

I don't have a C Class, it was just an observation. In any case, it took 90 sec to unstrap and take the wheel out of a GLC
