If Ciaz's housing fits in City, I guess availability should not be a problem. Just need to confirm which cars' housing can be used in City.

I have tried so many times to get this for my City 2015.. no chance so far I would be glued to this Thread now. I had got my SA to try the Jazz one but it did not fit he said so as with the CIVIC one.Sad these little things are ignored for the City.

Re: 2017 Honda City Facelift : A Close Look

So just got to know about this and thought will share here on the thread. Honda has made a few changes in features in the 2019 model of the city

1. Leather seats on VX model have been removed.
2. VX model now comes with rear LED lights as well, before 2019 it only came with front LED lights. Only the ZX trim had front and back LED setup.
3. Auto folding mirrors on Lock/Unlock has been removed from V model

Not sure what is the difference between the VX MT & ZX MT models now... Only very few cosmetic ones may be (like interior LED lights). + of course the leather seats. Honda guys used to claim the worth of those seat covers to be around 40-45K when I asked for those seat covers for my VMT model.

ZX has side impact airbags, which would the main reason for the price difference.

Re: 2017 Honda City Facelift : A Close Look

So,

Massive changes to the VX model:

Features removed:

1. LED headlights
2. Leather seats
3. Soft touch/ stitched effect on dashboard
4. Gunmetal trim on the window switch panel
5. Rear seat pockets

Features added:

1. Rear LED tail lights
( Don't remember if it had auto headlights)

So looks like they've got the feature list pretty much in line with the Verna SX.

Any intel on whether they've reduced pricing?

Have they updated it to digipad 2.0 in the 2019 models or not? No apple car play, no Android auto, and that too in 2019. Cars less than half the price of Honda City have these features (New WagonR). Even their own cheaper Amaze and Jazz have got it. Why can't they update in the Honda City.

I own a VX and point # 1,2 and 3 being removed is a big disappointment. I am a little surprised that why would they dunt have an LED headlight but will have the LED Taillight

This clearly seems to be a strategy to limit variants by consolidating the features. The price should definitely be brought down by atleast 50-70 k. Also, keeping the next gen launch in mind, they would not want to stock too many higher variants.

No 2019 model still works on the old sluggish Digipad 1.0

I have seen a couple of them till now. I didn't find the colour to be as good as the Carnelian Red Pearl that it replaces. Its alright at the best.

Cheers!

Agreed. Why, it's not even red anymore. It's like dirty brown. Don't like it. Carnelian red was awesome. They should give more interesting options like the rest of the world. I fail to understand why Honda treats Indian customers like crap even with the two wheelers. I know the Indian customer can get quite impossible at times but the other players are quite good at getting it right. I'm a Honda fan but they really get to my nerves with acting so wooden about the whole thing sometimes. Ditto with Toyota. It's not like we're demanding free stuff. They charge quite a premium anyways.

Meet Mr. Spock. My 9 month old VMT iVtec.

This is after a 3 hour wash and wax session. I am so proud of my work, I am even gonna go ahead and say this looks better than the 3M job. 😁

The paint is protected as I point blank refuse the water wash provided at the service center. 😁
