which is quite fancy enough
there is a tariff for fancy/ vip numbers...for navimumbai rto check their website for details....this rto has a transparent operation and Mr Bharat Kalaskar Dy RTO is a very genuine man....not much bribes involved when he is around.....i have 3 VIP numbers from that RTO without bribing

Are these "offical" rates uniform through out MH ?
Obviously you can't really account for the bribes but i suppose the offical rate card should be same.
In most cases the bribe is almost as much as the offical card rate.
My Karizma has GJ-1-XX-99. R.T.O Inspector is friend of mine. :D

A friend of mine registered his swift with the mahalaxmi RTO by standing next to the guy who puts the numbers in place, and then inserting his papers at the number he wanted it, ofcourse he has some good relatives.

I would have loved AP 09 AK 47 but the series was completed a long ago.

Why anyone would want the name of the weapon of choice of terrorists (AK47) as their car number is beyond my comprehension. :confused:
My office transport contractor is one of the big office transport contrcator in Bangalore
His all Bus, Sumo, Qualis have unique number and that is 00 in the middle.
like 1001, 2002, 3003, 4004, 5005 etc.
Our office supervisor said to me that now all these type of number exhausted and they are buying now 1002, 2003 etc. but two 0s always in the middle.
Anybody can see these vehicles in Bangalore road at any given time. He is having close 500 to 600 vehicles.
