is there a site like they have for the vashi one for bombay people. or are the prices same ?

but indeed a lot of money is being wasted on fancy numbers ...and in many/some cases its black money ...

I have a vehicle as RJ xx xx 0001 now i want ot get his number transferred to my new MT01 how is it possible what the price etc etc....

Will the MT01 The new Yamaha Super bike get regitered in Jaipur RTO as its a super bike with ex show room price @ 10.50L ... someone was telling that the RTO has to be informed by the manufacturer for such imported & costly bikes etc ... Totlly confused ...

BTW my merc has reg no 8008 & i was amazed to know what it means in DIGIT font... heheheh

AFAIK, if your RJ xx xx 0001 is a bike then you can get it transferred to your MT01. The series for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler are different & not inter-changeable.

There is no such thing as the series for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. you can get the 2 wheelier number to the 4 wheeler and vise versa. know it cause a friend recently transfered his P** 10 that was to his lambereta to the new Bolero that he got. and guess what the lamby was scraped years ago they just had the registration lying around.

All my cars are 0005.Even my cell nos are 99xx000005 , 97xx000005. Its not that tough to procure these numbers.Maybe the fact that our govt is in power helps. ; )

For X783 3 months. I think you are trying the number from show room or you are looking for the number in some particular area like AP 10 x, AP 9 x , AP 28 X,. PM me if it is so. Have fun at drive meet.

Wait till he goes to register the vehicle with the RTO. You should not normally drive the veh on Temp RC for more than 1 month, from 30-days to 90-days an affadavit would be required to register the vehicle. Post 90 days an affadavit along with police report would be required along with the registration fees payable + some hefty interest charged (I think 2% per month) on the registration amount.
