Hey Max, Bhanus got a pearl silver Baleno. Even that looks cool with fatter tires and alloys. And baleno for 5.8l on-road!!! Whoa... I wonder what Maruti is trying to do? At this rate they will start cannibalizing there top-end Swift customers.

Is Free Life Tax = Free Road Tax? If so Laxmi Hyundai in Hyderabad is offering Free Life Tax on Santro. That should save you around Rs.34000 straight away.

Lancer

Lancer LX BSIII
Ex-showroom - 6,97,000
Insurance - 25,918
Regn - 35,500

Dealer says , no December schemes, but he'll give corporate discount whereby regn will be free.
Btw, the 3 year free maintenance scheme has been withdrawn for all models ... 1.5, 1.8 and diesel. The Lancer site is not updated accordingly.

So OTR = 7.23 L

Ikon Flair

Ikon Flair (base - no cd player, no speakers, no fog lamps version)
Ex-showroom - 4,97,000
Insurance - 17,880
Regn - 23,800

Insurance free, plus 10,000 cash discount. He mentioned that they would also give some 'more' corporate discount.

OTR = 5.2 L

Ford Fusion

Ford Fusion (base)
Ex-showroom - 6,23,000
Insurance - 23,345
Regn - 34,800

Total 50K off. Like the Flair, he mentioned that they would also give some 'more' corporate discount. Without considering that ...

OTR = 6.3 L

Edit
Fusion+ has 80K off, OTR = 6.8 L
Fusion+ABS has 85K off, OTR = 7.05 L

Wow the Fusions already on discount! It's probably for them to be a cut above the NHC VTEC.
Anyone have any clue how much Mercedes is giving off. They usually have discounts almost all year round if u bargain but during this season its probably even higher. Do let us know if any of u guys have info on this. Thnx

Sounds true dude but it isnt. showrooms will sell cars without profit when they have to dispose them off or else they become liabilities!!!

Bhanu dude, is your baleno new type or the old one???

It is all 'new' BALENO with white tail lamps, vehicle manufactured in october, also that discount is excluding finance discount, if i had gone with maruti finance they would have given me 16K return at the rate of 7.5% diminishing, i took finance from HDFC at 6.25% dim for 5 years.
