I know that these are cars from 2 different segments in terms of pricing and size but it is between these two now. Which one would you guys recommend as a balanced but fun to drive engine? The features will fade away in a few months and after that it will be the engine which will bring a smile to his face so.
Any reason for not considering Nexon. With the update it gets all the features though a bit expensive than before. I found it perfect compromise, space, engine and build quality.

See unless you need the marginal more space offered by Seltos I don't see a point leaving the Sub-4M CSUV space. Me and wife discussed this a lot, what do we get for the additional 4L Creta (in your case Seltos) was asking us back in 2019. After a lot of thought we went ahead with Nexon (ecosport for you)
It is surely comfortable even on long drives, I have done 1000+ km in a single day, that was an emergency though. But even 600-700Km a day is quite comfortable in Nexon.

Engine-wise, both are equally punchy, CRDi is a bit more refined and vehicle-wise, Seltos is an overall much better package IMO.

Diesel gap is very less these days and only heavy mile crunchers might prefer Diesel. Turbo Petrols are the way ahead!

Anyways, saw a diesel ad after a long time

I have been driving the Ford TDCi for the last 4 1/2 years over 86000 kms and can vouch for it's torque, ease to drive, excellent fuel economy in my Aspire Titanium.Though diesel clatter is audible outside,a new passenger usually thinks it's a petrol model once inside with Windows closed.Utterly reliable engine . Thank you
