Mahindra & Ford have mutually and amicably decided not to complete a previously announced automotive joint venture.

So, not sure how this impacts the developement of the new XUV500 and the Ford SUV based on it. Though Ford officially confirms continuation of is India operations, it's going to be a wait and watch. However, I feel it would be a bad idea for Ford to exit India. They need to come up with a disruptive strategy for India though.
