| ![]() Hexa in my opinion is one of the better designed/built cars from Tata (along with Nexon and Tiago). Sad to see all that effort and investment going down the drain. They could have taken one of the 2 approaches and still leveraged on it:

Infractions: 0/1 (7) | ![]() In the Harrier it sounds like a old maruti taxi. Clatters it's way through all of the rev range. The engine is never silent, so much so that the entire car feels crude. |

![]() The Fiat 2.0 diesel in its Harrier avatar/implementation is less refined than the Compass. To quotes excerpts from the TBhp reviews: Harrier: "The engine starts getting loud above 3,000 rpm. Over 4,000 rpm, it starts screaming and what's worse, the engine note is sad (even by diesel standards). Your annoyed passengers will tell you to take it easy & shift up early. On the other hand, wind noise is kept out of the cabin impressively well, even at triple digit speeds...." Compass: "Jeep has done a commendable job in the NVH department. The triple-seal doors and ample insulation everywhere help to isolate the cabin from undesired sounds. At regular revs, engine noise is well-controlled, although the Tucson is even quieter. Owners will enjoy the refinement at lower revs within the city. The diesel does get intrusive beyond 3,500 rpm, becoming noisy as the needle approaches 4,000 rpm (engine drone here gets obvious)".

| ![]() Tata Motors to supply 200 units of Hexa to the Bangladesh Army Tata Motors has been selling passenger vehicles in Bangladesh since 2012. It is currently amongst the top two best-selling passenger vehicle brands in Bangladesh with the Tata Indigo, Tata Tiago and Tata Nexon in its portfolio. The Tata Hexa is being made available exclusively for the use of Armed Forces and is currently not available for purchase for private customers in Bangladesh. | ![]() Looking at the 5 seater Harrier, does it look long enough to accommodate a decent third row? I know the 7 seater is going to be longer, but that's just 6 cm. The length falls short of Hexa I believe. |

| ![]() Its definitely not going to be as spacious as that in the Hexa, that's for sure. Salesmen will have a tough time convincing customers as to why Buzzard is the flagship and not Hexa. Pedigree and looks are the only differentiators: one looks mature, the other rather modern and funky. |

Strangely this news (about the Hexa being axed) is only from the auto mags. Tata Motors has never uttered a word, either confirming or discarding the news. ![]()

Maybe Tata isn't saying anything as of now because of the vast stock of Hexa already with dealers and maybe trying to sell as many units before they make an announcement. The Auto magazines's word may not be 100% accurate either. Maybe we will see a BS6 Hexa in the form of a facelift or an EV type. Or maybe they are keeping mum about it and come 2020, they will make it official and offer a good discount on Hexa ![]()

| ![]() If Tata really are going to discontinue Hexa, what was the point of spending pointless effort on it for last one year? First they kept removing features every month, then launched a facelift with hardly any changes. |

| ![]() As you can see, this is still a rumour of which there's no shortage in our country. Even if it's true and a leaked news, why would Tata, who in the first place wanted this to be a secret, will endorse this? The auto magazines in India churn out tens of articles every day to keep their businesses going, some true, but most just trivial or fake or already known. So, one should ignore the rumour till it's official. |

| ![]() Which auto company of this world has announced to the public that they are going to stop a model in the following year?? So, let's get real. TATA is not going to announce it. As regards hit to the existing owners, this is not the first or the last Tata that will go out of production. From what I know, they will support their vehicles for a reasonably long time. Resale will take a hit for sure, but for a change Hexa is a wonderful Tata and living with it for a longer time should not be that difficult! |

| ![]() It makes sense to discontinue the Hexa. It hardly sells and is going to get worse in the coming months. Another beautiful car and all the effort that went into it wasted. Lets go buy more Marutis. We deserve nothing better. |
