Maruti Suzuki to show case Swift HYBRID at the Auto expo,



Both the Jimny and the SWIFT Hybrid will be seen as Maruti will be measuring the Indian public’s excitement level for a Suzuki off-roader and HYBRIDs'.

SWIFT HYBRID will have the new 48-volt self-charging hybrid (the latest development of the SHVS) from March 2020 which will replace the current 12V SHVS .

It is powered by a 91 PS 1.2L 4-cyl petrol engine married to a 10 kW Motor Generator Unit and a 5-speed AGS (AMT). Unlike the SHVS, the Suzuki Swift Hybrid can operate in petrol and electric modes, and offers an exceptional fuel economy of 32 kmpl in the Japanese driving cycle.

Day 1: 07th: Rs. 750/- *On this day, children below 18 years are not allowed*. I wonder why?

300hp+ Mahindra Funster EV concept to debut at Auto Expo 2020.

The Mahindra Funster is the company’s idea of a futuristic, high-performance electric vehicle, and will come with a 60kWh battery pack and four electric motors; one for each wheel. With this setup, the Funster will have a total output of 230kW (313hp), which will give it an impressive 0-100kph time of under 5 seconds.

Was looking forward to the XL5, any info? Besides, any reason why other models like Swift, Dezire, etc., are on that list. I understand the spirit of an Expo, and can understand display of things less seen on the road -- exotics, components, accessory manufactures, Nissan. Does MS have a case!?

This has been confirmed as the MG D90. In terms of dimensions, it measures 5,005 mm in length, 1,932 mm in width and 1,875 mm in height. It has a 2,950 mm wheelbase. In India, it will be priced in such a way that it competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and the Isuzu MU-X. As dimension-wise it touches the Toyota Land Cruiser territory, one of its key USPs will be its spaciousness and road presence.

Some of the key features of the Maxus D90 include Adaptive LED headlights, 21-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8-inch driver information display, around view monitor and 8-way power driver’s seat with 4-way lumbar support.
