Regularly seeing this absurd-looking creature on the outskirts of Chennai. Such a dirty-looking car that makes most other vehicles on the road including kuv more palpable. Side profile is the worst one.

Even if electric, they have added sound similar to that of a milk boiler.

Tata Motors is posting regular images of the new concept vehicles that they are going to unveil at Auto Expo 2020. Let us go into a guessing game and try to identify the images to determine which part of the bodyshell it belongs to and which vehicle is that going to be.

1. Looks like seat fabric of some sort.

4. It was guessed by a fellow BHPian that this appears to be a moss-like thing that can be used as a natural air purifier.

5. This one looks a bit odd, going by the design of the dashboard looks very utilitarian; the steering wheel looks similar to the one used to be on the previous Tiago. Doesn't look like a concept rather ready for production. Is it a new utility vehicle or a model from their commercial portfolio?

6. This one appears to be different from the above one but the ac vents have an uncanny similarity. The steering wheel is unlike any other Tata passenger car.

7. The below two images look like the front fender, wheel cladding, bonnet line and the sleek headlamps of the Tata H2X. Infact the color also is the same silver one that appeared on Geneva show.

In sl no 6, tacho is redlined at 4000rpm. This has to be a commercial vehicle. Also steering is quite raked. Are we looking at Sumo replacement?

Not necessarily, they are bringing commercial vehicles to the expo too, could be pics of one of those. Though I would love to be proven wrong.

With so many exhibitors from China, have they thought of any restrictions in place? Many countries have simply banned anyone coming from China or who has visited China in past 2 weeks.

Wonder what happens to the Sumo. In its present avatar I don’t think it would meet the pedestrian safety norms.

Given the fear of corona virus looming over the Auto expo and with the presence of so many Chinese delegates at the expo would it be wise to visit the expo or would it be better to give it a skip???

I have booked my air tickets, done hotel reservations and also received the tickets to the auto expo from bookmyshow

Any inputs would be much appreciated.

Something that is giving me a lot of heartburn. Tickets and accomodation booked but I am mulling over cancelling it given the amount of exposure to people especially at the airports and the venue. The logical side of the brain says it's a no-brainer to cancel but...

There are no details about the launch of Nexo in India but the Auto Expo 2020.

If one has to absolutely go, they should at the least wear a N95 mask. Buy ones which have a valve as they allow for much easier breathing.
