The Aveo 1.4 Base was the version that had all features except that it had steel rims and black handles. The next variant was 1.4LS which came with an electric boot release, and the third was 1.6LT.

The Amber metallic Aveo was one show stopper; bright with a lot of chrome courtesy LT.

I used to drive this car when my friend felt like taking a backseat.

Same with the Camry; used to drive her around when another friend wanted me to do some diagnosis OR when the guy was drunk after a get together.

Fiat Palio was the most fun to drive and comfortable car at that time (around 2005). It also took a lot of abuse without much love (read timely service) and finally gave up in 2012 when I had to get it scrapped.

Best driver's car of the lot - Subaru WRX. In 2003, this car could do 0-100 in 5.5 seconds.
Best for long hours on the highway - Chevrolet Malibu - Back in the day, GM had some of the best automatic transmissions around. The kick-downs were fantastic - like the car was reading your mind.
Best car I have driven in India - Skoda Laura (ignoring ownership headaches)
Disappointing car - Ford Mustang - this was a long-term rental and it was automatic. Didn't feel nimble and the transmission was a pain-in-the-rear

That one car in your list makes me so envious!! You are one lucky bloke to have owned and driven the WRX. I am not surprised that it was the best driver's car you owned.
