The Amber metallic Aveo was one show stopper; bright with a lot of chrome courtesy LT.

I used to drive this car when my friend felt like taking a backseat.

Same with the Camry; used to drive her around when another friend wanted me to do some diagnosis OR when the guy was drunk after a get together.
Thank you. I do remember now. Aware of the 1.4 LS. Thank you for bringing back old memories.

Attaching a picture of me proudly standing in front the Aveo. Please note: I broke the left mirror and the left fog lamps. Credit goes to my rash driving style during college days of course

Re: How many cars (in total) have you driven?

Until I started writing, I though I had hardly driven any car… so thanks for starting this thread.

1. Audi A3
2. Chevrolet Beat (daily drive)
3. Fiat Palio
4. Ford Ecosport
5. Ford Focus
6. Honda Jazz (Test Drive)
7. Hyundai i10
8. Hyundai Kreta
9. Hyundai Xcent

12. Maruti Wagon R

Fiat Palio was the most fun to drive and comfortable car at that time (around 2005). It also took a lot of abuse without much love (read timely service) and finally gave up in 2012 when I had to get it scrapped.

Re: How many cars (in total) have you driven?

Here is my list (across USA, UK, Thailand and India):

4. Geo Prizm (rebadged Toyota Corolla - USA)
5. Ford Mustang (USA)
6. Toyota Vios (Thailand)
7. Chevrolet Malibu (owner - USA)
8. Chevrolet Cavalier (USA)
9. Volkswagen Beetle (USA)
10. Ford Fiesta (USA, UK)
11. Mazda 626 (USA)
12. Volkswagen Rabbit (USA)
13. Subaru WRX (owned - USA)
14. Honda Accord (USA)
15. Toyota Camry (USA)
16. Nissan Altima (USA)
17. Hyundai Santro
18. Hyundai i10 (owned)
19. Maruti DZire
20. Maruti SX4
21. Volkswagen Vento TSI
22. Maruti Swift
23. Toyota Innova
24. Honda Jazz (owned)
25. Skoda Laura (owned)
26. Mahindra Scorpio
27. Mahindra XUV500 (owned)
28. Tata Hexa (owned)
29. Honda City
30. Tata Manza
31. BMW 320i
32. Maruti Ignis

Best driver's car of the lot - Subaru WRX. In 2003, this car could do 0-100 in 5.5 seconds.
Best for long hours on the highway - Chevrolet Malibu - Back in the day, GM had some of the best automatic transmissions around. The kick-downs were fantastic - like the car was reading your mind.
Best car I have driven in India - Skoda Laura (ignoring ownership headaches)
Disappointing car - Ford Mustang - this was a long-term rental and it was automatic. Didn't feel nimble and the transmission was a pain-in-the-rear

That one car in your list makes me so envious!! You are one lucky bloke to have owned and driven the WRX. I am not surprised that it was the best driver's car you owned.
