I visited Pandit auto to see the new Palio. Its damn good looking car. onroad price for all the variant are as follows. I observe one strange thing, 170 mm ground clearance look like 190 mm.

The new Palio does look good. Even 1.1 SLX seems 'drool-able'. If there weren't any concerns with the Fiat A. S. S. I would have definitely gone for it. But of course I'm stating the obvious

OD's fuel efficiency figures for :

Fiat Palio Stile 1.1: City 12.02 kmpl, Highway 16.02 kmpl, Overall 13.02kmpl.

Chevy UVA: City 11.49 kmpl, highway 19.68 kmpl, Overall 13.53 kmpl.

Hyundai Getz 1.1 : City 13.01 kmpl, Highway 18.35 kmpl, Overall 14.35 kmpl.

Thats for the first time in 7 years that I'm seeing an official Fuel efficiency figure of 12kmpl in city for the Palio.That brought a tear to my eye.But the highway figure is lower than expected.Was expecting it to be around 18-20 kmpl.The Getz trumps it comprehensively though.

That is less I feel, Fiat India had claimed a mileage of 14 - 15 kmpl in City!
In fact, a new Stile owner in PUG had reported a mileage of 14 kmpl (with AC) in City.
