You wont be disappointed if you visit the factory. Because there are so many small test cars running around the place. I used to spot them when I was staying near the plant. Saw the fusion way back in 2002.

It makes more sense for Ford to bring this Fiesta hatch as the premium hatch segment is hot now, with many more cars expected in a few months.

Since Fiesta has been a success, it will require less push by the company. Hope they have small Diesel engine option to get the excise cut. And of course, let hope they pass it to the buyer rather than keep it for themselves like in the case of the Fusion.

Great find, Benny & John!

They maybe quite close to announcing these. Otherwise they wouldn't be parading the cars out in the open like this, without any camouflage.

Nice find Ben!

Yep, it is the Fiesta hatch, saw it in Dublin too!
Looks nice, big and elegant, will be pitted against Swift/Palio/Punto/Getz.

Great pics Benny !

Ford normally make sure that the cars that they intend to launch are always covered with tape resembling a chequered flag.

Infact before our Ford Fiesta was launched we used to have the hatchbacks (drivers) resting near our office in Guindy. The pictures Benny put in here are very similar to what I have seen.

Could it be that they are testing these cars out for a new engine ?

Can we make something out of the number plates ?

Looks like Ford decided to grant a nice little scoop for its favourite baby son. Good shots benny.

There was no attempt whatsoever to camouflage the cars. And yes, they looked pretty good to my eyes.

No, he had to use his phone camera for that.

Nice pics! Somehow its hard to seperate Fusion from the fiesta hatch. hope the pricing is down to Swift/Getz league, with a good diesel option.

This one is going to be the scorching new hot hatch when it arrives.

The kind of stuff they do with Fords in the UK is amazing. Performance + Drool

Nice one khaadu!

Well, the pics did go through a little tough-up job, so thats why they look a lot clearer. Pics were taken with a 2MP camera, the N70.

Must say it was a bonus, to go along with the trip. But i was never on Ford's payrolls anyday.

Good looking hatch this one is. This means that Ford is pretty close to announcing their hatchback plans. Chupaa rustum... Skoda and Fiat seem to be saying so much about their launches, but Ford is doing everything without doing much talking. Knowing Ford, I have no doubts that this can be a good driver's car.

Excellent pics and good observations. The car looks good. The shoulder lines look very muscular.
Hope they dont compromise on safety features.
If they price is as well as they priced the Fiesta, then they have a winner on their hands.

Unfortunately, the game in the hatchback segment isnt as easy as was the case when the Fiesta sedan was launched.

I dont think this car would be priced lower than the Swift, and thats one advantage they would have lost. Sharing of parts between the Fusion and Fiesta sedan would however help with respect to the prices of spares.
