Nope . As Harish commented, the Innova is an MUV. Plus, I don't see any station wagons that can seat 9!

I think all of us are going OT, lets stick to the Maruti Van O2 or eco whatever its going to be called. The big question is, is it going to be a hybrid of an omni & Versa or is it going to be the APV as suggested in one of the recent posts or better still is it going to be a Landis

i hope it is a landis. as long as the engine is in the front and not under the seat like in an omni/versa, i think it can click.

Hate to say this but I don't think its going to be the Landis. IMO it would be nothing more than a facelifted Versa with the K12M motor from the Ritz.

I have seen a few padmini's in stationwagon format. I thought they were factory made. I may be wrong.

^^ I am not sure whether they were sold in India, but the Fiat 1100 station wagons were very much available in the international market.

On the upcoming Maruit Van.I just hope it is the APV and not a facelifted Versa.

The APV comes internationally with the G15A engine. But IMO the 1.2l K series will help to reduce the prices without much of a performance drop.

These are the dimensions--

If the length is 4155mm, its' not going to enjoy the tax benefit with a 1.2L engine. Otherwise, it needs a major redesign, which is not expected from Maruti. So, the new car may not be this APV at all!

If it is APV itself, it will be good for big families. These images shows its size and substance, though not proportional from some angles:

I saw the APV in Suzuki Global site. I don't know whether it will come to India or not.If it comes in two variants like petrol and diesel it may accommodate both individual and commercial customers.

If you notice the rear doors in the picture, it opens like the Innova's rear door.It is not the sliding type as seen in the Omni and Versa.
